  1. Guys, don’t forget that the Bears played in Champaign Illinois (University of Illinois) for one year when they renovated Solider Field back in 2002. So, it’s not out of the question if the Browns ends up playing outside of Cleveland.

  2. no retractable roof is a disaster. I live in the area. Since 99, everyone is saying it should have had a retractable roof. Haslams make nothing except terrible decisions.

  3. That stadium opened in 1999, and needs to be rebuilt to the tune of $1 billion? The Patriots are completing a $250 million renovation, on a stadium that opened 3 years later, and it will completely revamp Gillette. What are they thinking? Do they just want to get the money before the economy collapses? Either way, it’s a travesty.

  4. Lipstick on a pig.
Renovations don't work like the Bears did and see where they are. They want a new one in the suburbs now.

If you'll spend a billion then might as well build a state of the art retractable dome and get a final 4, wrestlemania, college bowl game and a small chance to land a superbowl if they have the hotel capacity.
