  1. I believe the American equivalent to your British Special Reconnaissance Regiment is the US Army's ISA (Special Forces) and the US Army Rangers Regimental Reconnaissance Company. Much like it's British counterpart, they are little talked about but were involved with this task force.

  2. Yeah but recently Great Britain has fallen out of the top 10 militaries of the world with less than 35k active duty troops. Great Britain has cut its military spending down to almost nothing. Whats going on in England Ryan? Why is defense spending and military so small there?

  3. If you’re in a war, the “moral high ground” is somewhere behind you. Get in, make the enemy quit, and go home. “Moral high ground” is for politicians and old veterans to lie about to historians.

  4. I'm so glad you brought up the "we do business and we do business together" bit.

Man, we show up, and we not only do business together, but we conduct the entire play together, but most importantly it is a fantastic play that is one to be emulated.

  5. If you want to see an interesting story about the Bounty program look up a man named Jonathan Idema. He was basically a wanna be special forces guy and con artist. Who went to Afghanistan as a private military contract and did a bunch of crazy stuff. He basically conned everyone over there. He had military generals thinking he was CIA. He had local governments and CIA personnel thinking he was special forces. It's an entire crazy story.

  6. Probably the Royal Marines would be something akin to the U.S. Army Rangers. Where they are special forces adjacent. What I mean by that is Rangers are not technically special forces (or at least from civilian perspective not special forces). But they do fall under the U.S. Army special forces command. They are a support group. They tend to secure the areas where Special forces groups are operating. Lets say Delta is storming a Terrorist HQ to capture targets. The Rangers will secure the area surrounding the building to ensure that Delta doesn't have to worry about being surrounded by outside forces.
