I feel like it's a bit of an obligatory fun fact I have to list off every time I see a reaction to this video, but it's just something to prove how off the wall the USA is in terms of being a Super Power. It is quite literally been amended into our federal Constitution that our military MUST HAVE NO LESS THAN 11 AIRCRAFT CARRIERS OPERATIONAL AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT. In short it is absolutely "unconstitutional" and quite frankly "un-American" of the US Military to ever have only 10 aircraft carriers operating. I do not believe any other nation in the world has a constitutional amendment in their nation that demands their military keep at least X number of a certain military vehicle operational at any given time. The USA is just that crazy.
To also put things into scale, which also makes you realize exactly how far we've come as a species in technological engineering, even the mighty US Aircraft Carriers are dwarfed by your average Cruiseliner and Cruiseliners are dwarfed by cargo freighters and tankers. Aircraft Carriers are mahoosive but they are not the largest vessels on the waters by any means.
I should watch the entirety of the video before writing these comments. To answer the question about a "murder/crime on a cruise ship in international waters." The jurisdiction goes to 1 of 2 places which is the same rules for airplanes. Either the jurisdiction is given to the port the ship originally took off from or it's given to the port it has landed in. I only know this because it was a bit of an ordeal with the Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard trials. Something happened on one of their flights and I believe the jurisdiction was waved by one airport and had to be taken by the other, or something like that.
I always heard that there had to be dual simultaneous "buttons" to launch the ICBM's, but who knows. I don't think there is any one button in the Oval office that one man can just push and bye bye little blue spinning planet. He I think has to command the action and then more than one person must pull it off. At least I would hope so. Also, remember this. There is NO WAY these are the limits of our military. They would never leak nor allow their best secrets to just pop up on the internet.
I served in the US ARMY Retired now but still take pride in my service and will still serve if needed
Taking off and landing on an aircraft carrier is way different then landing on an airfield The ship is in constant motion Pitching and rolling with the waves I salute my US Navy Pilots brothers and sister in arms
yyea super carriers are insane floating cities!! the fact us has 11 and are creating a new one
REASON 6:
THE DEEP STATE WILL K*LL OR SUBVERT THIER OWN LEADERS TO ACHEIVE THE AGENDA.
(see JFK, RFK, MLK, MALCOMX, STOLEN 2020 ELECTION)
Not these days. Our military is too involved with LGBTQ. We are ripe for the picking right now!! Soft under Biden!!! I’m actually scared. I hope that who ever decides to conquer us they don’t take it out on the citizens. We didn’t want it!!
The reason we build our aircraft carriers so big is to accommodate the crews with living quarters, storage facilities for food, and cooking ingrediants, a full fledged industrial kitchen, recreational workout rooms, lots of bathrooms, as well as plenty of hanger space to store aircraft, parts, munitions. You also have to take into account the amount equipment needed to maintain all the systems, from catapult, to emergency landing nets, landing tow cables as well as firefighter equipment in case of deck fire or fire outbreak with in the ship. The Nimitz was the largest class of aircraft carrier until we built the Gerald R. Ford class Super carrier which unlike the Nimitz can house 6000 military personal including their flight crews. We have the best military b/c of the amount of hardships our people went through from American Revolution, American Civil War, 2x World Wars, Vietnam, Korean war, Gulf war, Iraq and Afganistan wars. We pour so much into our military not so we can use it and boast the best in the world, but b/c when the time comes and someone strikes at us, we will have the capability to strike back hard and fast with out causing civilian collateral. One of our Presidents had one of the best policies that still holds true today", Speak softly and carry a big stick, you will go far". In laymens terms " the exercise of intelligent forethought and of decisive action sufficiently far in advance of any likely crisis".
The Oval Office does NOT have a red button. The President has access to a portable missile code system in case the need arises.
As a local American resident, I can tell you it’s impossible to beat us without trying to use nukes. But try it at your own risk because ours are bigger 😉😙 Oh and if they come anywhere close to touching the UK, they’re done also. That’s why Putins bitch ass is to scared to doing to anything to anyone else. They’re basically stealing candy from a baby and failing at it right now…
British should leave their un permanent seat and give it to some better countries because they don't have any independent policies always bark and do what there daddy usa ask them too
And if an enemy was to breach American security and go against the citizens of the USA we are heavily armed with all types of weapons to defend our homes and towns!!
When it come to the police you have to understand you where in a big city where violent crime is a little more likely to happen. I'm sure the police in london are a bit different than the police in a more rural area of the UK.
Sophie☺️
LOL No worries, the United States military has officially gone woke with drag queens for recruitment campaigns. It's disgusting. I would bet on my 7-year-old niece being able to take down the modern US 'soldier" in a fight. Limp-wristed, unicorn-chasing, woke wimps!
I live in the US in Louisiana which borders the ocean and has a huge port where cruise ships go in and out daily. I’ve never been on a cruise either. Specifically because so many people go missing off those ships and are usually never found! Cruise ships look like lots of fun and my mom and her sister have been on a few cruises. I’ve been invited but refuse to go because I’m terrified of going missing. I actively discourage my mom and family from going on them because I’m afraid I’ll never see them again!
It's a red phone
The jurisdiction is under Maritime Law, for the reason you need to be within 30 miles from the shoreline of a country (if i am not mistaken)
Oh please, our current President and his whole administration are a bunch of pansies…..No military at our border, 2 million "got aways" since Biden took office……We are being invaded right before our eyes….
There is also 1 other thing that isn't brought up, would be if the USA was invaded, in WWII the Japanese emperor said if you land on their soil, you would be met with a Rifle behind every blade of grass. While good and bad, our "love" of our guns, turns our whole country into a army.
Cops will resect you as long as you resect them. Not all are bad
Funny that the topic of cruise ship deaths came up lol I've actually done a lot of research on the HORROS of dealing with a murder or disappearance on a ship (which is not too uncommon because it's a major hub for human traffickers), not only is there no jurisdiction or police on board, the PRIVATE companies that own the cruise lines have the option to not allow for investigations or any government agencies to conduct proper research because for the pure reason that they are considered their own private entity while out on open water, not even considering the aspect that you're going from country to country and having to deal with different types of authorities with a missing/killed loved one.
22:30 There is for the US at least. It's called the "Nuclear Football". Basically, if you see a soldier next to or around the president with a briefcase handcuffed to his wrist, that's the Nuclear Football. It takes the President and the holder to open the case, if I recall correctly, so no madman can just do it alone. If you ever see them open that case, well…. the world will end over the course of the next hour.
Daz want ur guys opinion I believe in this https://youtu.be/tJ8koNI9c9A
F-117 stealth fighter came out in 60's!!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣.
Our cops ae just bullies
If anyone messes with America, they're about to learn real quick why we don't have free healthcare. haha
The largest air force in the world is the us air force
The second largest air force in the world is the us navy
Most cops in America aren’t mean, there is a difference between mean and straightforward. I think it’s what ever your perspective is on being nice. They don’t show up at your window just going off, that’s counterproductive and their life would be in more danger. If you respect them, they respect you, of course you have some tight attitudes just like any other person. But overall they are nice, the first question they ask is, “do you know why I pulled you over?”. The perception that everyone in America pulls their guns out of over exaggerated. That’s a good way for you to loose your life really fast. After they pull you over they are for license and registration, and proof of insurance. You give it all to them, they check it out, you get a ticket or go on your merry way. I’m never terrified of police when I get pulled over, I never have had to make sure my hands are on the wheel. I just keep them in my lap, when they ask for stuff, I just reach in my purse. You can read body language, they know already if you are a threat or not. This is for the people that might say there isn’t a fear for you, or you haven’t had to put my hands on the wheel (because that’s what some black peoples say, when encountering a police officer, “keep your hands on the wheel or you’ll get shot), because you aren’t black. I’m black, I’ve never been afraid of a police officer, and getting shot by police. I’m respectful, yes Sir, no Sir, thank you, have a nice day.
USA is strong but cant wins even 1 war and afraid to go for war just pushing another country to go for war with them shame shame the real evil existed and that is USA politicians
DamN right! 🇺🇸
Yes British police are so much more reasonable….. And useless. Also do you honestly think that every traffic stop by police in America involves being harassed by police? You said "here they just walk up to your window". Well buddy boy, can you guess what they do here 99.8% of the time? They just walk up to your window. I've never had a cop pull me over and yell any instructions at me. It's always just "license and registration" and that's all, and I'm an ex convict for God's sake.
Thank you for that story about the drone. It goes to show you how much freedom you don't have in the UK.
Ur guys officers are great and do an amazing job but the ones in the USA are power hunger and they wonder y they are targets. If they were more like ur guys officers then they wouldn't be targets
I was pulled over in litterally 1/2 mile from my house..Live in the country and a truck in front of me was going really REALLY slow.. but knowing my back roads I passed on a double yellow line.. well for the first time in all they years I had lived there a police officer was suddenly there.. I went down to a driveway where I knew I could turn my car around to be facing out so I could just drive straight out and go home…Wrong decision apparently… the officer thought I was trying to turn around and try to escape…. (first off.. why would I have pulled into this driveway if I wanted to outrun him… I would have just kept going on the main road).. this officer pulled his gun on me… screaming at me put your hands on the wheel where I can see them.. I had just gone with my Best Friend to lunch for her birthday… just coming home… never expected to have a dang gun pulled on me..for just passing on a double yellow line… this boy was so young and scared, though,,, he still had braces on his damn teeth… this was about 5 yrs ago and I know my oldest son was older than this officer… No one should give a person a gun that is that scared of a 50 yr old woman in the middle of the country… It's not like I lived in NYC…Good news is.. went to court.. paid my find and no points on my license.. lol Bad news… never give a kid a gun and a badge when they are just that … a KID
Wow… I had no idea what this video was about.. I thought it was Toby Keith singing Angry American… I truly am uncomfortable watching this… Yes I am a proud American but I'm not the kind of person that wants to brag to other countries that I have respect for. I will like this video because I think ya'll are awesome.. but I'm not going to be a part of making anyone feel less about their country… I don't know.. I just feel creepy about this.
To me it's very sad that we have to have these militaries to protect ourselves… Why do we have ppl in power that want to destroy other countries.. did we learn nothing from WWI an WWII, Vietnam, Desert Storm, the war against terrorism that we all still fight…
Imagine this.. this is only what they allow you to know about. The U.S. Military is far superior than what people think it to be.
Plz lol with biden in charge we ain't shit. Anyone could take us over. Specifically if China and Russia joined forces we would be really screwed..
Beautiful family. Winning in the air is everything for USA military. I hate videos that are verbose to suggest that we can’t be defeated. It’s a top down structure
The reason cops in america are so mean and on edge is because of gang violence, gangsters in america are not to be messed with they're the reason US has the most shootings.
There is an area in AZ called the Bone Yard where they have hundreds of aircraft that have been decommissioned and where they retrofit existing aircraft and send parts out all over for repairs. And I would recommend checking out the A-10 Warthog. In BRRRRRRRRRRRRT we trust.
Now you understand why Russia is struggling to capture Ukraine!
