  1. I arrived 9 days before the start of the ground war. I remember when it first started and the Drill Sergeants brought us into the day room for CNN. STOP! ASSEMBLE IN THE DAY ROOM! Some others were assembled in the theater or training halls and gymnasiums with it piped in for when it would kick off. Just so short of Graduation! We were ready to go! You get no recovery or PCS. YOU ARE ON THE PLANE! 2 hours with your family. Reassemble here in 2 hours! You will be assigned your next orders! You Reservists and Guard don’t mean s**t! You are Active Duty Right Now! You might get that plus up order! Go plug that hole men! You will never get that chance again! ;-)πŸ˜‰

  2. The United States have been a superpower since WWII. They were a Global Power since 1898, and they're currently a hyperpower. The USA was a superpower longgg before Desert Storm.

  3. The f-117 stealth fighters were an unproven concept in war but the Saudis nicknamed them ghosts cuz they weren't showing up on their radars. But the pilots didn't know if the technology was as good is they thought and they have no defensive weapons

I have a friend that was there day one he had an hilarous story of watching the first missle launch from the ground the warning siren went off and he was stuck outside where him and his soldiers friends were inside and he was just in aww watching the launch but the inside solders shut the sliding glass door and when the outside solder finally figured out he needs to be inside he runs into the glass door breaks his nose and then has a great story oh him trying to put his gas mask on

  6. I was 10 when this started and had no clue what was going on this was the first military act of my life my dad was 12 when Vietnam was exited and he was so furrious when it happend cause he remembered the 80s way more than i did from a political point of view, it took a long time for America to get on board with this cause we didn't have the internet yet and the only information we could get was from news channels, my friend that was there is 10 years older than me and i didn't meet him til about 20 years ago he's the only person i know that was actually there,it really didn't effect him he had no problem talking about it, I have a life long friend that did 20 years of service, he joined a few months before 9-11 so his reason for joining was different than everyone else's he seen battles in lots of country's including Korea and afganastan and some places he couldn't tell me about, hist PTSD has crippled his mind

  8. We were there to absolutely ahnialate every obstacle in the way…put a metaphorical cast on everything, and make Hussein go into hiding so we could see more of the innermost hiding places.
This is why you don't mess with the United Nations.
We'll take you out….This is probably why the Ukraine wants to be part of the United Nations now.
Russia has no chance against the United Nations.
Nobody can fly nearly as good as the United Nations.
Imagine 30 years later…what power does the United Nations have?
With all that said…I absolutely hate war and killing.
