Should make a London style skyline, so have buildings like the Shard and that bank building could be this city’s equiv of the HSBC tower.
I really enjoy your videos and they’re extremely easy to listen to like Nilered and I’ve realized recently that I’ve been falling asleep listening to your videos 😅 I can’t sleep in silence and often have random videos playing but I’ve consistently come to your videos to play while I go to sleep

Normally takes me about 3-4 months to build a city to be done for me. Now I'm thinking a year? LOL

I would say until someone makes a better stock exchange or you make a place like London looking on the river with skyscrapers … move it to the outskirts of the map & just forget about it for the time being.
So biffa about the loans there's two ways you could look at it…. if you were to take out a 200k loan at 15% you need to make more than 30k with your investments to pay it off & profit. Another way to look at it is to by the weekly payment… so long as your investments are paying more than 442.31 a week you are in the green

This looks like a town at the moment or a cluster of towns rather than a city. The financial districts and skyscrapers would provide a CBD and city like area.
This is the first Biffa video I have ever skipped through almost entirely. More detailing and traffic fixing! Less financial stuff! Its way more fun watching you build an Airport than worrying about investments and industries. At least for me.
Probably a bit late, but personally I think you need to remove the items until some workshop items become available. The small banks are ok, but the stock exchange is just stupid. Haha. Merry Christmas Biffa. 😀
In Paris we have the "La défense" district with is a very modern district just next to the old town Paris, I thinks that it will fit great if you do the same like not in the center of Blightea but just next too with a lot of small skyscraper and big pedestrian road 🙂

The small bank is nice. All other assets are wierd. Also sidenote: Cash Van they are all the same capacity just different colour variants like how the civilian cars have 4 colours
There is a new bank to download in the workshop that would suit this build so much better its called Generic Bank, no new stock exchanges yet

Local mayor and councillors would give go ahead, backhanders, to build. There are monstrosities all over uk, my hometown Worcester had huge warehouses built nr homes.
It's simply too big. I mean, it's towering over the blocks of flats and the wind-turbines. For a Blightea build, it just doesn't fit. Maybe if you were building something like Manhattan or Tokyo, it could fit, but I'm sorry, I just don't like it in this setting.

Level 1 buildings look very nice. After that they looks hideous, imo. I won't be buying this dlc.
I wonder if the buying and selling affects the stock prices? That would make sense. If you as the local government bought a massive amount of shares in a company, trust increases, others invest, prices go up. But when you sell, you encourage others to sell, and the prices tank… meaning you can once again buy at a really low cost again…
I found it pretty easy to earn money with the stock exchange. But then, I have no trouble getting industry to flourish in-game, generally. Regular specialization? Been adding in some of those into the DLC areas, per FewCandy's videos, which may be why I'm doing okay there, covering both base game and DLC–but the game seems to count the DLC, too. Your observations about productivity in the game seem about right. You're right, the exchange stands out a bit much for Blightea, but you could evolve toward a more modern portion. It'll be great for Biffalo Countea!
The reason the stock thing confused you is because the game is simulating an absurdly corrupt situation. You as mayor control the amount of production, which directly determines the value of your stocks.
It's every dictator's dream.
I finally had some time to play around with the stock market a bit Biffa. You may have already figured out this but I watched the the video earlier this week and I thought you said the industry options are for zoned farmland, this is true but they are also affected by the DLC Industries, I am not sure if you knew that or not but if you turn off all your buildings in your industry you will see the price for that industry drop. I tested this on the farming one as I started a new game and that's the only industry I had but it seemed to be going up while I had it active, so I turned off all the buildings and waited a day because I play with the Real Time Mod and it updated the next day and dropped like 95% once I turned off the farming industry.
Also how stocks work or so I have been tolled is you want to by low and sell high, so if you see red numbers this would be a better time to buy than when they are green. Normally you have to worry about if the business takes off or not but it seems like this is not part of how these stocks work in game still a nice DLC though I rally am enjoying the DLC I got from your link thank you 💖💖
Hey biffa, you could do a London city themed area. Big financial buildings, high density and such
You could start a city based bit off London and English cities down side of the water with some biggish building
Honestly, I've been wondering when you were going to do a 'London/Birmingham' type city area. You've done great making a british area, (reminds me of where I live lol). Maybe have it start when you open up all the spaces and have a city a distance away, like around the edge of the map? or like with birmingham that kinda builds up to the highrise city centre?
