the US company Moog showcased its Reconfigurable Integrated-Weapons Platform integrated into the Supacat High Mobility Transporter and the Dingo 3 armored vehicles, The Supacat HMT benefits from a proven service history with nearly 1,000 units in operation since 1988, establishing it as a reliable and low-risk choice to modernize the British Army’s fleet of vehicles.

Our Armed forces are just for show. If you can't build them in your own Country, then when you go to War, you can't replace them. It's stupid.
Id like to see more non US tech in the armed forces i think uk japan and italy are a great mix to make our own tech
Cut the c..p and address the elephant in the room. Drone warfare renders this obsolete.
Wait and see if this survives Labours SDR this year.
It'll be this if they're stupid or it'll be a boxer module if their iqs are better than lukewarm when they choose.
Maybe better to fit this new Lightweight Armoured 6×6 Modular All Terrain Vehicles, especially for Light Air Defence role.
Going back to the old British 40mm Bofors Rapid-fire Cannon system, used before and during World War Two right upto nearly the 1980's, then only being replaced by Towed Rapier SAM system and Blowpipe MANPAD system too.
Maybe it time to bring back the 40mm Anti-Aircraft-Artillery (Triple A) rounds, though a very modern upgraded version for the 21st Century Conflicts and Wars.
By installing the British BAe System Swedish Bofors Remote Weapon Station system, with a modern 40mm Bofors Rapid fire Cannonm system with dual-feed twin really to use loaded magazines, on one side of the RWS.
With the 40mm Bofors Canon, having either single-percision-shot capability, or 10-round or 20-round rapid-fire capability too.
While on the other side would be an 6- to 8-rounds High Supersonic MANPAD missile launcher system, with extra missiles stored inside external armoured (with explosives-protected blow-off panel) weapons locker too.
Or the 6- to 8-round missile launcher, could be loaded with a mixture of Advanced Fire-and-Forget (with optional in-flight upgrade capability too) High Supersonic Lightweight Air Defence Missiles, plus Advanced Fire-and-Forget (with optional in-flight upgrades capability too) High Supersonic Lightweight Anti-Tank Missiles.
Finally the RWS being installed with a central mounted 12.7mm Heavy Machine-Gun System, again with dual-feed twin ready to use loaded magazines.
With sniper single-shot, or 5-round and/or 10-round burst-fire capability, plus full automatic fire too.
Also the HMG would have a choice of rounds to fire, either Air-burst Fragmentation Rounds and Anti-Material Rounds, plus Armoured Picering High Explosive Rounds, High Explosive Incendiary Incendiary Rounds.
Lastly General Purpose Full Metal Jacket rounds, for anti-infantry and attacking soft skin vehicles etc.
Along with a built-in Laser range finder illuminator system plus built-in Daylight Adverse-weather Night-time Zoom Digital Electro-Optical Camera System too.
While the Air Defence RWS mounted vehicle, for the Royal Artillery, having separated telescopic mast mounted multi-sensor 360-degree turret.
European State-of-the-art Multi-role Electronically Scanner Arry (MESA) Radar, Early Warning, Search and Track plus Fire Control System.
Or European High Tech LIDAR (
Light Detection And Ranging) or LADAR (LAser Detection And Ranging), Early Warning, Search and Track plus fire control system as well.
Along with European State-of-the-art Thermal Infra-red Early Warning, Search and Tracking System, with a High Tech Acoustic Early Warning, search and Tracking System.
Maybe with a third separate telescopic mast mounted, Lightweight Direct Energy Weapon System, for Low to Medium Atlitude Air Defence.
Against Aerial or Ground / Surface Drones, or against Air to Ground Missiles or against Free-Fall and Glide Smart and/or Dumb Bombs.
Or against Anti-Ship and Land-Attack Cruise Missiles, or against Surface to Surface Rockets and Missiles too.
Maybe even against Conventional Armed or Nuclear Hypersonic and Ballistic Strike Missiles, even against Multiple Independently-targetable Reentry Vehicles (MIRV) with their own payloads too.
Though the Direct Energy Weapon (DEW) Laser, similar used to intercept and destroy naval gunfire or artillery shells, or mortar bombs and/or tank rounds, plus Rocket-Propelled Grenades (RPG) and Lightweight Anti-Tank rockets too.
The British Army and the Royal Artillery, needs a new Self-propelled Light Defence Vehicle System urgently.
Whether these are mounted on lightweight soft skin all terrain wheeled (4×4 or 6×6) vehicles, or mediumweight armoured-protected amphibious all terrain wheeled (6×6 or 8×8) vehicles
Fantastic 15 over priced units by 2030 by then lasers will be in & one drone with AI will destroy it. How about trump says he wants the isle of wight sanctions the UK & stops any exports? Build British scrub the pointless challenger 3 sell both carriers cancel order for anymore f35 jets get rid of the royal marines as they do not have ships to move them anyway & if they did would not have the ships required to protect them. Scrap the out of date parachute regiment & have an army of cheap to employ commonwealth cannon fodder fijians nepalians or just give up join the eu & have no military we don't have a country or society worth protecting. Lawless broken Britain no place for a white Englishman.
Mad Ed Miliband 🤡 will block the vehicles because they are not EVs 🤔
There you go, repeating the same information over & over again to extend a 4 minute video to over 8 & half again!
Repeat repeat repeat. NB the missile shown was the Marlet, LMM, produced by Thales
A great addition to the UK defence.
A sound system, so long as they remember that technology can fail and usually right when you need it!
🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩💪👍
I would have modernised the gepard tbh while giving it a duel automatic loader and automate the turret while placing the 3 crew members in the chassis of the vehicle.
