So it is really a replacement for the CVRT series as it could quite easily replace a lot of the CVRT series but a real replacement for the CVRT does really need to be developed
The Canadian Government needs to buy well over hundred of these for Arctic defense. We have rapid response units who would be able to have a more rapid and larger forces to their response… it will be fully compatible with our NATO allies.

The contract isn’t for 5 type 26 City class ASW frigates, it’s for 8 type 26 Anti Submarine Warfare frigates.
