  1. Personally I never understood the outrage regarding the sinking of the Belgrano. Both counties are at war and pretending like one side broke the rules in a football game is pretty ignorant. I think the truth is that the British shot themselves in the foot by declaring an exclusion zone at all. They should have made it clear that all Argentinian military asset were fair game even if a ship was still tied to It's home port dock.

  2. I have watched many documentaries on this war. This had many details the others hadn't covered. Some of the others had interviews with survivors on both sides. Taken all together this is a very well covered war. The Russo -Ukraine war, if and when it ends, will be more difficult due to the staggering amount of information.

  3. 40:08 Actually it's not. Britain always acted this way. Demand that all parties play by the rules of engagement but they won't do it themself, later when their enemy adapted to British action, they will do the Pikachu face and declare it as crimes. Rules of warfare are not expected to count for the Royal Navy.

  4. ''considered it an integral part of their territory'' that's not true at all 🤷🏻‍♂️ they sent people out to islands all over the place in a period when they had like 14 governments in a little over a year, at which time it was a British naval bas… Buenos Aires sent peole out in all directions checking every former Spanish territory they could think of just to see if they were empty/up for grabs… the guy they sent to the Falklands wasn't even Argentinian lol
    He was American.
when he got there, after having gotten lost for a couple of months, his starving crew, some of which were Argentinian, were nursed back to health by the Brits then based on the Islands…. the American brought out a flag and 'claimed it' for Argentina and the Brits were like; 'lol'.
There was a time later when Argrentinians sneakily squatted on it one time nobody was around… they actually starved and fought each other and left without any cintact with Britons and then it was deserted again. Eventually Brits actually built proper settlemants on the islands and cntinued to live and farm there ever since. They're British, simple as that.
The Agentinian claim is no different from China tomorrow saying 'they're ours 'cause we say so' 🤦🏻‍♂️🤡

  5. You could have mentioned it was a Labour government that bet over like bitches never even saying a word to the Argentinians for their obvious probing.
These same Labour scumbags then ruthlessly mocked Thatcher over it like it was somehow her fault 🤦🏻‍♂️🤡🤡🤡

  6. Imagine saying it's part of their colonial herritage (like if the US claimed Scotland after the revolution 🤡) and then calling British ownership of it a colonial relic 🤤 🤦🏻‍♂️
they have no selfawareness and the maturity of goldfish… just scumbag liars who will sau anything anytime 🤬
    I say Argentina is a colonial relic…

  7. In the 40 years since the retaking of the Falklands the UK has become immeasurably wealthier. I was 10 at the time and my material existence on an average wage is way above anything my parents could have afforded. I however think the spiritual life of my country has been lost over the time span. If we needed to pull together now to do what we did then I would be suprised if we could. Our politicians of all hues are light weights, our people divided over trivialities. I miss that country and feel sad for the rich young people who will never experience it.Hard time make good people, good people make easy times, easy times make soft people , soft people make hard times indeed.

  8. It’s kinda amazing to see exactly how many instances of bad luck and poor decisions had to line up for the Sheffield to be sunk.

Combine that with the skill and technology available to the Argentinian pilots, and you end up with a ship that specializes in Anti-Air getting sunk by two planes.
