  1. Thank you for sharing this interesting discussion. Furthermore, for including Rahul Shendure who is leading Carbon Built an important sustainable solution for concrete sustainable start up and an amazing sustainable socially empowering investor!! Additionally, I appreciate what Amy Harder is doing at Cypher Media, and her discussion about climate justice in regards to the global south and Africa in particular. But I am not sure the statistic she shared about the how much global greenhouse gas emissions would rise if Africa developed its' potential natural gas resources i at all accurate. Moreover, Africa can be 100% renewable energy powered at a lower total lifetime energy systems cost. (Jacobson, M. Z., et al. 2017) Also, I particularly liked how, Jessyn Farrell shared how the City of Seattle has incentivized the use of active modes of transportation (i.e. walking, biking and using mas transit).

Now I realize you can not include everything in a discussion of this type, but I was surprised that no one mentioned how the Inflation Reduction Act, is one piece of a very important climate action package that also includes the "Justice 40 Accelerator" that helps direct funds to underserved communities (https://www.justice40accelerator.org/ ), as well as the "Bipartisan Infrastructure Act" and "CHIPS Bill" that have all rapidly created jobs across the USA.

Thank you again for sharing this important discussion on how the "Inflation Reduction Act" is being implemented and for all of your excellent climate change reporting.
