  1. 23:15. Right when Dan Anderson captured that famous footage is when the Tornado crossed over the Shields Boulevard Overpass. My Uncle and his friend took cover under the bridge with several other people. One woman got thrown out and didn't make it. The only bad injury my Uncle had was that an object the size of a pebble went all the way through his forearm.

  2. I remember when I was little there was a tornado spotted around where I lived. My Dad and Mom rushed us kids, my two brothers and me and went to our basement and squeezed into a tiny fruit cellar. I still remember the sound, like a train but very loud. To be honest, I was so scared because of the spiders that at times were in that cellar. I was too young to understand the danger but I do remember seeing my Dadโ€™s face and he was very concerned. When it was over, we went back upstairs and the only damage was to our front porch steps, they were gone! Nothing else. This happened in the late 50โ€™s in Melvindale, Michigan. โœ๏ธ
