I think we know all know Brian's biggest weakness is his wrestling and i think from here foward he has to be fighting from the clinch. We don't need him to be a great wrestler, just improve his muay thai a la Charles Olivera where the bodylock takedown is inevitable for fear of exposing your neck. I think Brian's game will look really different 5 years from now. He'll be more of a Muay Thai guy like Charles Olivera and even Makhachev who's opted for the muay thai clench coupled with judo trips to get their opponent down.
