Why so called GoW fans don’t play the great OG trilogy. I really don’t get it. The storytelling in those is great and the games are so much fun gameplay wise.
Near the end, you can un lock a Kratos from the first 3 games. Which is really nice bevouse you can see his ENTIRE face becouse he HAS NO BEARD!
You seriously need to play the original games. It brings so much more to the newer Norse games.

It might be worth watching a video regarding things that happened post main game (After the story).
There is a story beat you learn about in the after the main game that may make particular sections of Valhallas story make a bit more sense.
(Although I don't think it's ESSENTIAL, just nice to know going in).
