If the IDF floods the tunnels, wouldn't the hostages be put at risk of drowning? I'm surprised I haven't seen this in the comments already. I'm sure that Hamas will save themselves first if they see/hear the tunnel they're in being flooded. They won't waste time ensuring their hostage(s) escapes

As a result, the Palestinians' land area was reduced to 43%, and much of that 43% was taken over by Israel, who destroyed the Palestinians' homes and took away their land. Now, the Palestinians have only a fraction of that 43% left. There is not enough water.
