  1. Joe Douglas not improving the back-up QB position all off-season and not doing anything this season is incomprehensible. Only thing that makes sense is this was a directive from Woody Johnson. If it wasn't, Douglas should be fired.

  2. Zack Wilson did not ruin the jet season because the man that takes that title is no other than Joe Douglas who hired the worst offensive coordinator in all of football and also assembled the worst offensive line in all of football. In addition with the exception of Garrett Wilson none of the wide receivers can get open.

  3. If you're a Jet fan AND you watched pre-season there really was NO DROP OFF when Boyle came in.
Now you gotta admit they got rid on Mike White because he was clearly better than ZW and the GM could never have that! He needed Wilson to succeed to justify the pick. They told you Mike White was too much money and GAVE THE BUSTED DALVIN COOK 2 MILLION MORE!
THE GM COULD NEVER LET ANY QB PLAY BETTER THEN HIS #2 PICK.

  4. Jake “Its not Saleh’s fault. Whenever Saleh has had another QB in not named Zach Wilson they have all looked better”

Saleh’s record with QBs not named Zach Wilson 3-9
Looks like we have a Saleh truther

  5. I think you need to start at the top and JD is the one who had the control over the roster. Such a massive blunder on his part not suring up the QB position. I dont want to see him fired but its hard to defend his job security with this oversight

  6. Part of the problem is Saleh forcing him to start. Even John Elway was benched his rookie year. Another part of the problem is it's Zach's third rookie year. Trevor Simien looks better statistically. I don't know. We went through this in 99. Testaverde went down and Parcells rammed Rick Mirer down our throats. He benched him too little too after losing enough games and Ray Lucas ( a Rutgers qb) took the team to 8-8. I think he went 6-2 .Nothing fancy but solid play. This year is mirroring that year eerily.

  7. Zack does not belong in the NFL..yes the O line is in shambles , yes..the OC is not great but you cant leave out the main catalyst for the last three years..ZW. Zack Wilson is terrible he is in over his head. He makes a Bad O lIne look like the worse O Line ever seen because he cant process information fast enough and holds on to the ball, he has no pocket presence and his Football IQ is very low. Can he make a play here and there yes…but its clear as day he does not have it…we can blame everything around him all we want… the guy stinks and its not his fault. I blame Joe D.

  8. The problem is Hackett. Joe D should have offered Ken Dorsey a job (maybe not OC, but a consultant of some sort on Hackett's staff) as soon as the Bill fired Dorsey. Dorsey was the scapegoat for Josh Allen's turnovers.

It would provide "competition" at OC (Sahel wants competition at all positions)

It would provide a fresh voice (one that has prepared against the Jets for several years)

It would provide info on the Bills mindset.

It would set up the next OC if Hackett has to go (sorry Aaron, your boy sucks)

Under Dorsey as OC the Bills were ranked Top 10 in every category.

Meanwhile, the Rams have improved under Mike LaFleur.

  9. Douglas drafted Wilson. I don’t care how many GM’s would have done the same. Any BYU fan knew this guy was NOT an NFL caliber QB. Douglas gambled that he was getting the next Mahomes and he got the next Ryan Leaf. Then because he’s an areogant prick he doubled and tripled down. This time though he ruined the season because with an average QB the jets might have been able to make the playoffs and get rid of the record they have in all major sports in missing the playoffs. This is all on Joe Douglas. Drafting ZW was a fireable offense but still playing him 3 years later deserves prison time

  10. The issues for 3 years are 1) Lack of offensive coaching. 2) Terrible Oline that means 3 and 4 issues are no run game, affecting pass game. 5) inept receivers. They dog it, run wrong routes, no awareness, drop catches, and can't get open. So blame Wilson that he had no coach, no players to consistently block, run, catch, and make plays. So blame Wilson. The scapegoat. There are reasons players from other teams pep him up. They see his talent, he ain't no dog. They also know the issues are beyond him. Rogers wouldn't do better, Brady, or anyone else without the real issues being fixed. With Boyle playing, he is getting same results. Only TD is a layup pick 6, with an unmade EP. Now the defense just got an interception. Super! Boyle throws a prayer pass, gets intercepted, and returns for a Miami TD. But blame Wilson.
