Awesome stream! Really appreciated the Fabuland section. Those little animal characters are a huge nostalgia fest, and some of those fabuland pieces, like the lamp base/stand… It's funny that they're a staple in every modular building set, the brooms, etc… Yeah, little LEGO easter eggs everywhere.
I could never get into digital modelling/brick building because you've got a bit of a wall between you and what you're trying to accomplish. You're constantly having to translate and negotiate with the program with each action, instead of simply doing it with your own two hands.
Here's hoping VR and tactile gloves will help with that in the future.
Since you like the toys but not the company that much, why don't you try some Bluebrixx Star Trek models? I know, they are only sold in Europe. But we'll find a way to get you some π I wasn't happy with the quality of the first wave, but I've heard that this has improved now.
Haha… awesome… I was just continuing the video while building my own MOC. And right when you talked about putting the studs into the arch, I was doing exactly that. I use it in my Mobile City Jurassic Park MOC. You can find it on Rebrickable if you are interested π
how do you wash your breaks alot of mine could use with this, given how I hound relatives to selling me their lego when they go to Uni, i have a lot of secound hand childs lego that has that feel to it
You caused me to go out and buy a couple of star wars sets (grew up with them) because you triggered my nostalgia. It's weird because my adult hobby has been miniature painting and kitbashing (mostly Warhammer) and not even Lego. I've been bingeing your videos while painting as well. Good stuff.

It's too bad I missed the last part because nick showed up, would have loved to chat with him but oh well
Is the name Rama (if that's how you would spell it) in reference to the Rama science fiction books by Arthur C. Clarke?
