It’s time to take a look at the starting position, historical background and unit rosters of the 25 NEW MINOR PLAYABLE FACTIONS ! They’re supposed to be a lot harder than the main factions so expect the fight of your bronze age life. Oops. As always grateful for your support!

Which factions are you hyped for ? Elam/Cimmeria/Boeotia here
This update will basically make Troy obsolete
I need an exclusive and extended video of that lil buddy dancing in the outro
What do you think in what state will the multiplayer be?
"Historical" is too much to say about this game. Is an eurocentric orientalist stereotypical compendium. Especially regarding the general 3d and units.
Just the topic is generically "alright".
thumbs up!!!
10 of the minor faction leaders will have unique appearances.
Merneptahs death is no longer scripted
Mesopotamian factions can expected Elamite invaders from east, invaders from south west and proto urartu invaders from north
Number of turns per year Will be in customisation options and go up to 12
Minor Factions can access native rosters
Minor factions can access court, they just won't have commands or special court interactions
Memnon is a playable faction leader
Capitals can be moved
No Penthesilea or Amazon's coming over to game
There will be Easter eggs for Ea Nasir so look out for Ea Nasir references. Dev talked about general with Ea Nasir name iirc
Achilles will have a new skin for TWP. Don't expect anything over from Troy for that
Sea peoples reworked. They are now controlled by campaign AI,so expect them to settle now,not just raze.
Setnakhe confirmed for unique appearance alongside Merneptah and alot of Aegean because of Troy port.
Devs relying on starting position for main appeal of Minor factions. So don't give too much hope on their units.
We will have 8 native rosters iirc
Trojan war can happen in the game but it won't be forced as some people suggested. Will be up to player decisions.
as much as i really prefer historical totalwar… troy didnt do it for me, this is basically troy 2.0
Thank you❤❤
For video
I have always been interested in knowing about Bronze Age civilizations
No Israel / history but a plethora of insignificant or historic fiction
I’m sorry … I really don’t believe we should start redacting Bronze Age history so Neo-Nazis don’t get triggered
I really wish they named the faction after a region/city or group of people. Not a person… it ruins the immersion for me so much
That's nice, but they should have just postponed the release of Pharaoh until now, and released all of the factions all at once…
Still not gonna play this one
Can't wait for this. I wasn't interested in playing the Egyptian factions but love the timeframe, so I bought it anyway and tried a Hattusa campaign. It just felt so cul-de-sac'd though only having central Anatolia with no east-west axis, and i couldn't get into it. When the full map drops I'll probably do another Hittite campaign first.
I didnt know anyone played this game anymore – last dlc ?
Why be concerned that some faction may start with weaker units? Many of us unlock worse, most unplayable factions that are supposed to be gone in few turns just for the fun of struggle. One of the first mods i downloaded for rome2 was unlocking poor Etruscan League:D In times of rome 1 i was building empires with Numidia and Thrace(thrace required path because it was crashing often). Minor factions may be sometimes pain to play with, but its few times more rewarding if you succed!
shvatio sam da si naš po načinu na koj kažeš dž i r. baš prepoznatljiv naglasak a i svidja mi se
Why there is no Kolchians or moskhi people ?
Assyria
Will here be local court mechanics for the troy and Mycena, sth like a greek empire? The current greek map in plan seems too small for an empire that requires enough sacred land though
