No I disagree. I spent my youth in Marine Aviation. I spent hours watching varying jets land and takeoff. My favorite was the SR71 Habu. So i was surprised when 2.5 yrs ago at the height of the covid scare i was awqkened one night to a sound I’d never heard before. It woke me up as it sounded right overhead as if I was next to it. It continued strong never reaching crescendo nor waning. I timed it and woke my wife to tell her we might be under missile attack. Right at the 17 min mark the sound stopped as if it had been turned off. I did some research and yeah whether it was a drone or jet I don’t know but it was definitely “hyper sonic.” We got one alright.
