Break Barrel Survival Hunting in THE SNOW!- Ruger Impact MAX .22 caliber

Can I survive with an airgun? A break barrel? Let’s go hunt some cotton tail rabbits and see! With the Ruger Impact MAX Elite .22 caliber break barrel. It’s wintertime and the snow on the ground helps track the game. This is awesome! @UmarexAir

  2. Nice hunt πŸ‘. If you have enough small game for you and your family, that would probably be a minimum of 7 cottontail rabbits every day. I know we would starve to death in eastern South Dakota. Every one has rifles and hunts. So the question is how long would the game ( deer, pheasants and bunnies) last in a collapsed society which would require survival hunting?

  3. Had this rifle over a year now, been superior with accuracy with a centerpoint scope from walmart, but foelr some reason it is not accurate with iron sights?…. and I put my scope back on, and now it's off point no matter where I aim….now sure if I need to clean the barrel or what but what it love the 14.3 gr hollowpoints …I used them on squirrels, rabbits, small birds, and crows over 45 yards…but now not sure what wrong…shots flying around all over the target….ANY SUGGESTIONS in REFERENCE TO HOW YOU KEEP YOURS ACCURATE?

  5. Ruger max elite .22 is awful, it's my most inaccurate rifle I own. The Crosman Shockwave .22 puts it to shame in accuracy and fpe/fps if you're going for a budget air rifle.

If you watch reviews on the ruger they all same the same accuracy is inconsistent, I actually think you even said it when you reviewed it

  6. Sweet two rabbits under one bush. Nice job Ben. That Ruger Impact Max elite has a beautiful stock an is a basic 30 yard break barrel. The only rifle I found that shoots pointed pellets good.

  7. I gave $149.99 at my local Walmart in Missouri for mine. It's ok for up close shooting. Past 25 yards it doesn't group so well but I do most of my hunting at less than 25 yards so it's fine for that. It will do in a pinch. Great video Ben!

  8. I’ve had this rifle going on 3 years. The trigger is brutal out of the box. Simple spring replacement takes care of that. The only other gripe I have is I think it’s beginning to lose power after several thousand pellets. The cocking effort is half of what it was. Can’t find any replacement parts from umarex. Thing shoots 1” groups at 20-25 yards with the ruger pellets.

  9. I had bought the Ruger Blackhawk and it was terrible like 25 foot groups at 20 yards so I just about gave up on them until a buddy gave me one of these and I was blown away with the accuracy and it hit dang hard for what it is. Definitely a decent slinger for the money
