  1. Dorwinion Soldier 1: "I hear there have been rumors of orca to the south. Think there is any truth to them?"

Dorwinion Soldier 2: "nah, I bet they're just to scare the new recruits"

Zagar busts through the trees: "Here's Johnny"

And don't forget to light the beacons if you're enjoying the campaign!

  2. Hello, friend. You make good progress, but I wonder what you are willing to do with the regions in Dorwinion that you conquer. Are you willing to give them to Rhun or you'd rather keep them? Another thing is the garrison in Gelebrin. This castle gives you access to the Mirkwood units, which are good and better than your tier 1 units, especially the javelins. When you recruit there, the small band of 3 men can either go up to Zagar or Balak'nar and merge or south to Minas Morgul to get retrained. And Zagar and Balak'nar surely need their armies retrained at some point.
You say about Sauron's army? I have a good idea, which Izzy used it first: Sauron and all the Nine, which gives 10 units. Plus two Olog-hai Units, two Temple Ward units, two Temple Marksmen units, one Temple Knights unit, one Great Beasts unit and two Troll Catapult units, full-stack of 20 elite units… 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶

  3. I don't know how knowledgeable you are in the lore, but I'll share a bit about the Ulari/The Nine and the beginning of the war of the ring. After Gollum found his way into Morder and was cruelly tortured by Sauron he was released with the idea that he would lead Sauron to the location of the One Ring after he had failed to find it before being ousted out of Dol Guldor. One mishap after another and Sauron's spies lost track of Gollum.
Despite losing Gollum, Sauron thought given Gollum's location in the events of the hobbit and His knowledge on the previous location he felt the one who possessed the one ring would be somewhere along the Anduin.
Sauron unable to trust any of his servants save the nine with knowledge of the one ring he enacted a desperate operation. (Few Orcs knew anything at all of the One Ring for it was always a secret of Sauron's. The Nine whose will was bent absolutely to their nine rings in the possession of Sauron himself were the only servants he could entrust to capture the ring and bring it back directly to him.)

So to prepare for the hunt, Sauron ordered the Nine to attack East Osgiliath for two reasons. To test the might of Gondor and to create a diversion to focus all's attention on Mordor's attack of Gondor. During the assault The Witch King himself was allowed to reveal his full might as he pushed the defenders across the bridge destroying it behind them.

After its success Sauron ordered the Nine to go unclad and cross the Anduin, and wherever they passed unseen, men felt a terrible dread for the Nazgul's terror increased when they were together or when they wore nothing over their ghostly forms. Farther north Sauron ferried black robes and black horses stolen from Rohan and had orders sent to them to scour Anduin and find the location of this Shire and Baggins in stealth.

Unable to have their terrible presence unnoticed for long and unavailing to find their quarry Sauron sent threats and warnings that caused even the Witch King to tremble and so they traveled to Isengard seeking information. While Sarumen in dread and trechary managed to send the Nine away they found Wormtongue on his way to Isengard who revealed to them the information that Saruman managed to keep from the Nine. The location of the Shire. And the rest you can generally see for yourself in the movies.

It's pretty cool in your RP you manage to remain as cautious as Sauron was in holding back from assaulting Gondor. I'm looking forward to a stack of Nazgul racing through the lands towards the location of the One!

  4. Oh, I don't know how outside of Dol Guldor losing that you can reclaim the three Nazgul stationed there but it might be speedier and more interesting if you sent your own forces to take Dol Guldor and cause the three to respawn in your control.
