After Braden's part in Emerge came out I went and bought a board from Toy Machine's website. I wanted them to understand my hype though so I straight up emailed them to say it was 100% because of Braden's most recent video part
Then a few weeks later I'm hanging out watching the Hubba Hideout SLS contest only to see Braden as one of the contestants– I was like oh shit it's my boy! And as if his presence at the contest wasn't surprising enough, the mother fucker won!!! I swear dude I felt so validated in that moment. I was like dude … I fucking knew this guy skated unusually well. I have never emailed a board company about one of their ams before but his footage inspired me. So yeah, I don't know how to explain it but them turning you pro made complete sense.

Great little episode right here! Braden has VERY QUICKLY become one of my favorite skaters of the modern day; he is so extremely talented and seems like it's all for the love of the stoke.
