I started some Dara and Nigella seeds today for my early spring planting. I will start my tomatoes and peppers in a few days. I'm in zone 8B, desert climate with a last frost date of March 15. Lowest temp for us this winter so far has been 28 and our days are in the 50's and 60's.
Hi Nicole, long time, follower here. Wanting to let you know I’m in Northern Minnesota zone 4B and I have started some seeds. I did start onions, begonias, poppies, salvia red and purple and lantana. We have very little snow cover and cold temperatures. Fun to watch the snow removal! Shine On🤩
Started seeds this week here in Alabama, so many just went a little bit crazy with my flower seeds this time, can't wait to see what actually comes up!
Last frost date April 30th
Zone 6b Pennsylvania.
I've been seed starting since December.
Lisianthus ,snapdragons, eucalyptus, stock, campanula. As well as some bulbs/ corms
Ranunculus and Tulips.
I'm growing in a hoop house in addition to my field space this year for the first time, and I'm super excited!
🤞 Happy New Year.
Hey, Nicole, I started my Lisianthus on January 2. That is what I did last year and successfully grew about 300. I planted 288 this year. I'm just north of Louisville, KY. now zone 7. Can't wait to see your year of growing
the long poles are so hard to use. not worth it in my opinion.
I started my lisianthus, foxglove, larkspur and delphinium this week. It's my first time growing all of them so ….fingers crossed. I'm in zone 5b
So much snow! It's beautiful! Starting my winter sowing jugs tomorrow, Spinach, Broccoli, all cold weather crops, Lisiathus and purple bell vine, poppies, violas, pansies SO excited! Zone 6a Indiana. Last frost date end of April. Praying you receive the grant🙏❤
Happy New Year! 🙏🏻
MN 4b. Gonna start cold stratifying perennial seeds and onions
Lisianthus planted and sprouting up.
Oregon. Zome 8b
Lisianthus 1/1 in zone 6 NW PA also getting a ton of snow. Oh and rosemary, thyme & petunias.
Best of luck in 2025, Nicole! You do as you can when you can and be patient. It will come! I have no doubt God will continue to smile down on your business and the precious heart of the lady who owns it, the same way he has throughout your journey to this point. Being realistic about your financial situation and cautious of the level of risk you're willing to take on are important traits of a good businesswoman…which you obviously are. Your future is very bright. Trust us. We see these things from afar. LOL Stay warm!!
I’m in 6b and will NOT complain about the 22” of snow in my area.😂
Started onions, broccoli and kale yesterday.
The stock, snaps and straw flowers are on the agenda as soon as I replenish my compost supply.
I just have to say that Brad’s tractor agility is superb. It’s quite adorable, tbh.
❤❤❤❤❤
Good morning, great video. Have started some seeds. My last frost date is in may. I have started a few seeds, onions, Lisianthus, geranium, primula, and a few more seeds. Thanks again for sharing your videos. Hope you have a wonderful day 😊
I am in NJ, the very tippy top on the border, I have started onions, pansies, lisianthus, herbs, coleus, lettuce (for inside growth) this week I will start eucalyptus, stevia, and violas, snapdragons and stock. I am going to start peppers earlier than last year, as I had issues with poblanos and jalapenos growing too slow. Most likely first week in February. Oh just remembered zone 6b last frost date is May 15th.
Good to see others do snow removal like we have to. I live in South Lake Tahoe. My goal is onions this year. Everything goes tiny here. Last frost is 7/5 . we have gotten snow in every month of the year! Wish me luck. Need c.
Glad to see you survived the big snow dump. We are having unusual weather. It's 4 degrees here in Central British Columbia Canada.😂
An insane, confusing winter. I have no snow in my yard in northern Ontario Canada. I am concerned about my gardens because there is no insulation against the cold.
Yay.. You are such workers.. looking amazing though. I had to do this to my tunell last year, but not this year, YET. Last frost date about 1. of may here in southern part of Norway. I’ve sown Lisianthus, Verbena and some Fancy frills Pansies. Then I have started some Dahlias to get some cuttings to sell this spring. Have a great sowing time, dear you
Couldn't you use one of those long floor dust mops and push the snow off from the inside?
It's amazing what the snow bands and lake effect can do in NY state! I'm only two hours south of you and we did not get any of this snow! Lots of cold and wind though. But, I am happy to have the cold, our spring plants, perennials and maple trees need it!
I will be wintersowing foxglove soon since they did really well last year. I don't know if I will wintersow anything else this year. I will start ranuncula and anemone indoor soon. The rest of the seeds can wait another month. Zone 6b ohio
Thank you Brad! Love seeing you both work together
Great job!! Here in zone 8b, our last frost is end of April and I’ve started Lisianthus, Delphinium, Foxglove and a bunch of cool flowers so that I can aim to plant out in March 🌱🤞
I live in Boise, ID. Last frost date about May 10th. I started plumeria seeds (4:10 germinated but one may not make it), I have echinacea in the fridge, and I will start artichokes soon (nasty gopher killed 21:24 last season).
I started seeds, coleus. February 15th is our last frost date.
