  1. WE HAVE friends who drive a Tesla who never take it on trips out of state because of all the time required to charge the battery — they rent a gas-powered vehicle for travel of any significant distance.

  2. My two grandkids have that mini trampoline, and like yours in that photo, just jumping and hanging onto the bar isnโ€™t enough. They have to invent more daring ways to use it. My thin, 7 year old grandson kept putting too much weight on the handle, leaning toward the front of the trampoline and almost tipped it over a couple of times.

  3. With the bloopers, it was the "They are from Hampton Hills" for me! I busted out laughing the way Linda formed her mouth and made that statement! I think just the way you both cracked up right after she said it, made me crack up and laugh out loud! You two are such a hoot! You have been a tremendous help to people who are thinking about moving here AND to people who are residents already. At least that's the way I feel Jerry and Linda. The one thing I know is that you can always learn something new and there is nothing better than gaining more knowledge and you both have been instrumental in teaching us all more about The Villages!……….teachers that you are! ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐ŸŒดโค You are so appreciated!!

  4. Great video guys! Enjoyed the jokes tonight. It's nice that you guys are humbled and have no further expectations regarding support or accolades from TV, but man you guys are a HUGE asset to them and TV's present and future community!

  5. Great show, yโ€™all! It touched my heart to see Linda trying to suppress a yawn after looking after five grandbabies for a week. Bless her, I doubt most of us couldโ€™ve lasted a day! It surely is a good thing yโ€™all stay fit!

Just a reminder, too, that we also have the Paddock Mall in Ocala that is much closer than Orlando. It may have fewer stores, but itโ€™s still quite nice and is a very easy drive with no tolls. Itโ€™s only 25 miles from 466 and has Belkโ€™s, Penneyโ€™s, and Macyโ€™s as its anchors. I was pleasantly surprised at how very nice it is!

Gizmo did a great job, as usual, but he still seems more tired than before. Is he still on his medications? Sure hope the little fellow bounces back soon. I know how difficult it is when your little buddy is under the weather.

    Love yโ€™all!

  6. Hi Jerry and Linda. Let me first start by saying we drank the koolaid finally! We bought our home last week in the village of Richmond and will close on Dec 12. We will be moved in by New Years Eve.

We ordered our golf car on Friday and will take delivery Jan 11. We opted for a Star electric. Yes it is so quiet compared to gas.

Last but not least I was on The Price is Right July 2 1976. My kids always wanted to see their mom when she was young and before 2 of them were born. My son did everything he could even going to CBS studios. He said they were locked up tighter than Fort Knox! While we were in our lifestyle home last week I was watching The Pluto station and they show all TPIR episodes over the years. I told the kids and my youngest went to work and found the episode! They have gotten such a kick out of it and shared it all over FB. All my family and In laws have now seen it. My last name was different but thought you might get a kick out of seeing it. I was so thin back then! ๐Ÿ˜ณ. I am the first contestant after the first showcase showdown. about the halfway point. It is true you sign a paper that you will not disclose your winnings till after the show airs. Also, if the show is pre emptied you lose your prizes.

  7. Love your videos. Just want to say that I loathe the idea of mandating EVs. I don't mind if people choose them but to tell you you MUST is sort of totalitarian government if you ask me. I'm very upset about this. It will definitely impact our mobility through the country if there are no more gasoline cars.. and if you research it carefully they do not do anything to protect the environment. Lithium batteries have to go somewhere they also have to be mined to begin with. None of it is really good. Once again I'm in favor of free choice but not mandates. Thank you

  8. You are clipping it wrong on Gizmo. The clips should go through BOTH hoops, not one clip on one hoop and one on the other. In the event of an accident, it prevents the harness from separating from the dogs body. By the way, I love how Gizmo puts his chin on your arm while you are filming. My German Shepherd is not much of a cuddler, but she loves putting her chin on our arm when driving. We also harness her in when traveling.

  9. Glad you had a couple of good trips. We saw Rocky and the Rollers when we flew out to sign the house papers in August. Pouring down rain and everyone dancing in the square holding umbrellas…haha. The band said they would only stop if there was lightning and they could see some so they took a break. Great Band. Beautiful walking sticks. Rodney and Jackie, Congratulations! I don't believe that our house is listed in the Villages 3rd Quarter sales since ours was on the MLS. Correct us if we misunderstand but we think they only count their own sales, so it would be a much higher amount if that is true. Ours sold in about a week as i had a hot finger on that speed dial to the Realtor.โ˜Ž Hi to Don. Thanks for the info. Love to Gizmo. Looking forward to the 'Movie Premier'! (Paul used to be a flight instructor) xox

  10. My best friend from Jacksonville & I just spent two days in Orlando doing Christmas shopping. We shopped @ the Millenia Mall as well as the Container Store & then Orlando Vineland Outlets. Super shopping trip and only about an hour away from us too๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜‰

  11. Come to our house in Village of Dunedin backing up to the preserve and youโ€™ll see (and hear) big families of wild boar ๐Ÿ— walking through the marsh on a regular basis! Thankfully the preserve is 8โ€™ below grade of our propertyโ€ฆ
