Starscape Cleric isn't just jank, it is one of the best cards from Bloomburrow for aristocrates and lifegain commanders. Most of the time an update over Dina, Soul Steeper
Keen Eyed Curator? U mean Racooze?
“Bedrock Turtis” “pride of the hull clad”. Always makes me giggle hahaha.
"Doppelgang is one of my favority cards from last year" Doppelgang was released this year. Literally the previous standard set.
BoP in timeless? nice.
would the dour port-mage work in a ninjitsu deck?
Fountain waaaants bloood…
„Frooghh“ 😂
Something interesting about eluge is it only cares about the amount of lands with flood counters on, and not the amount of flood counters itself, so you can't just proliferate for even more free profit.
Oh boy, can't wait to show all my friends my new Gev, Skalded Stortch deck with Lasping Jasper Flan in it!
Dour Port-Mage works well with bin Ninjitsu I bet
Portent of Calamity only lets you cast ONE spell from among the ones you found. However you may cast it forever, not just until end of turn.
They finally broke Gravecrawler.
Sad Eluge doesn't work with Whelming Wave. That things definitely a Leviathan
Could you stack a bunch of instants (maybe starting with a sorcery) with Festival of Embers, then sac the Festival so everything goes to your graveyard instead?
Yeah, as soon as I saw Gev, I thought of crimes and outlaws.
Hey buddy, you can hyper reduce Portent of Calamity using Eluge
I look forward to pushing standard on arena with this set. I look forward to rotation as this set should add a lot to the format.
I'm really curious if a legit tier tribal deck(or hopefully multiple) develops out of Bloomburrow. These tribes are not common creature types so it'll have to be pretty pushed, and in theory, only gets 1 set to power them up(BB)
You’re telling me I get free counters in my Chatterfang?
Kitsa will be the reason I break my vow and finally build a mono blue deck.
If I coiling rebirth into the bat god and kill the token does the token transform into the land? Or do I have to kill the true version?
Welp I can already see crimes face when he learned Jace the Mindsculptor is coming to arena😅. In also excited
I've been searching and I can't find the source that Imagine Courageous Critters (e.g. JTMS) will be coming to Arena. Anyone have a link?
Kitsa might literally be vintage playable in Lurrus UBx…
It gives you grind power with looting and replayability of pitching things that Lurrus can recast, it's recastable WITH Lurrus itself, Prowess triggers off Moxen meaning synergy with Hurkyl's Recall and PO and easier to turn on the copy effect, and then if you manage to hit the ceiling of copying an Ancestral or Time Walk you're basically just styling on your opponent at that point. Oh and it pitches to Force.
The only problem with fountain port is that is doesn’t produce colored mana unlike mirrex. But otherwise it’s a great card.
Eluge is super cool. Good thing vexing bauble only cost 1 😂
Valley Mightcaller should have been a play creature called "champion of the pear-ish"
Seth’s favorite snack is Combos
Champion of the perishable
Great… Eluge really is just going to make Control utterly abhorrent to play against. Free counter-spells, and draw spells every turn. Including the opposing turn. I dearly hope this stupid thing gets banned before I have to deal with those braindead decks.
Mycotryant specifies "permanent card" so the plan to sacrifice tokens to mill would work but the "get all the tokens back" won't trigger if you're only sacking tokens since they are "Permanents" but not "Permant cards"
Festival of embers is expensive but hear me out. If you have eluge in play and 5 lands…there's an instant or sorcery from bloomburrow that lets you blink a creature for 1 blue. If you have 2 of these in hand.. you can blink Eluge 4 times for almost nothing..reducing spell cost by 5 blue or colorless. Not bad!!!
Patchwork Banner is great in a kindred deck. Heraldic Banner is good in mono-colored decks that aren't kindred (or at least heavily one creature color over another)
Kitsa also works with Nadu 💀
The turtles reach is a reference to this plant with jumping seeds
If you look at the turtles back you see seeds or flower flying off of it
Did he really say +20/+20..😂😂😂wow
Elfs don't need 3 mv mana rock or +1/+1on artifact becouse they have better options in elf
Champion of the Parrots – they missed out on
Wizards trying hard to make something really nothing for 13+ audiences. How low will they go?
Thank you Seth for your good vibes and this fluid/pleasant video editing as always for spoilers.
🧡 from France bro 👋
Since it's a large sea monster I'm pretty sure "Eluge" is supposed to be pronounced like "Deluge"
I don't see fountainport as flavour fail because you sacrifice the fish or treasure token, rarely the offspring.
Tree Karn should not exist, and whoever brought it to be should be fired immediately.
The second ability on Scavenger's Talent is interesting because it doesn't specify what kind of permanent. Could be a treasure token, food token, creature – whatever. Not sure off the top of my head what combo that might open up, but seems cool. I was thinking about Warren Soultrader because you kind of get double mill triggers for the treasure and the creature sac if you have something like Gravecrawler out. Of course you lose a bunch of life repeating that but I think you could mill an opponent before killing yourself.
Eluge, the Shoreless Sea, could be a card for modern merfolk in the side board. we already play so many counter spells. this pairs well with harbinger of the seas
Also Eluge can be used offensively if you have an islandwalk threat you need to get through
Colored mana cost reduction: Edgewalker
It's unique because it only reduces colored mana.
Really excited for bird of paradize and marrow gnawer in arena !
hard to imagine how a raccoon is supposed to be a 7/7 – that's even larger than colossal dreadmaw
