Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts – the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Another idea: do a reverse of this. Have two cars trying to take down an airship. Maybe use an altitude sensor to give the airship a max height.

The main section of an airship is filled with a gas that is lighter than air. Helium is the most commonly used gas. A car, or gondola, suspended below the gas balloon holds the airship's crew and passengers.

you should add flares on vehicles by using detachable blocks and thrusters so that you can avoid being locked on by guns. 😀

Scrapman you can do a challenge where the players have to build a truk with 20/30 dragon engine and a trailer for the truk loaded with 🎲 and put a gun on the truk. The winner IS the player Who go farther whitout losing 🎲

Have a competition where the same vehicle has to fight a round airborne, a round landed, and one underwater!

Idea: Vehicle battle.
Just build anything that will hopefully get you the win. Let's see Howmush destruction we can see when you're only limited to your imagination (and the 700 block limit).
Maybe build a plane with 5 of every weapon?
Maybe build a truck with 20 miniguns on the back.
Or maybe build a submarine that can fly so you can hide under the water.
I think it's will be fun too see what everyone comes up with.

I have an odd and probably very difficult challenge: a flying fish build battle, basically a sub with no block or power core limit only rules being you can only use propulsion under water without weapons and gliding above water with weapons, so if your not able to stay in the air for longer periods your basically a sitting duck being under water more often. Please like this comment so scrapman sees this

you should try to make the smallest,fastest flying go cart with a smart cannon and do a 1v1v1v1
You should do a challenge where the car driver builds the bomber plane that the other side will be using to destroy the car, and the bomber will be building the car that you will use to destroy the bomber. Of course with some rules like "no self destructing" or "weird controls" so its actually possible.
Video idea: a 2v2 race where 2 people are in a car but only one can use w and s and the other can only use a and d
Do a battle with mini thruster controled turrets. Make it that your tuuret is free spinning left and rigt and use thrusters to aim
Day 1:fighter planes vs cargo plane, but no projectile weapons.(rocket, Gatling, etc.) Instead, use melee or dynamite on structure rockets
Scrap… 2v2 Race with vehicles where the turning is controlled by both players.
Like, if you want to go left both players in a vehicle have to turn left or if you want to bust both players have to press it at the same time.
Just think it would be fun
