  1. It's ridiculous that Britain can hold the largest airshow in the world yet not get any business for themselves as their aerospace industry barely exists except for making some wings.

  3. The Post-Farnborough order numbers are good news for Boeing. I think deliveries were equally important with 51 commercial jets in June 2022, It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out after Boeing has the MAX-10 and 777-9 certified.

  4. Everyone "won". Orders mean jobs. Jobs mean a stronger economy globally as both AB and Boeing source parts and services from all over the world (except for maybe Russia). Unlike the Airbus fanboys, I want to see both companies succeed. Competition is good.

  5. Yeah, Boeing was on top this time. Delta would really have to explain their logic regarding the intrest in the 737-10 over the A321XLRneo because that's a little incomprehensible at the moment. Very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!

  6. Airbus were quite on purpose at Farnborough. They knew they will get the chinese order. No biggie. They thought, let boeing run with all, we are full. Let’s see how the “winners” handle max 10 which may not fly at all or if yes, it will be with delays.

  7. The sentiment has been that Boeing would be losing ground to Airbus on an ongoing basis and that Airbus would be basking in the sun from now on. The saga continues

  8. On the surface, Boeing won the numbers game at Farnborough. But I think the numbers are all for-show and don’t reflect the reality – it’s not like some airline CEO will go to the show, kick some airplane tires and say “I’ll take 50 of those.” Negotiations and back-and-forth happen months before the air show, and then the deal is only announced at the air show. Some airlines might say that they don’t want the announcement to be made at the air show for this or that reason. It’s only a show… and there’ll be another air show in another country and another flurry of announcements and so on. I think the real measure is the end-of-year numbers and, most important, the order book.

  9. We will see if Boeing can pull it off by certifying the 737 MAX 10; if not, Airbus will be in the lead for a few years. A real test for Boeing.

  10. I think the most impressive thing Boeing did, or at least their test pilot did, was taking the 777x and doing that 90 degree bank. That was crazy. You expect the pilots to show us the capabilities but was on some other level for a plane that size.
