Boeing has confirmed it is changing its safety inspection plans.
This comes as it follows advice from safety regulators.
There has been a significant fall in Boeing’s share price after two US airlines said they’d found loose bolts in some of their Boeing 737 Max 9 jets.
US regulators grounded all Max 9 planes after a door blew off on an Alaska Airlines flight mid-air.
Boeing says it is in touch with inspectors and is committed to the highest safety standards.

We know what the problem is: Boeing's quality control.
Hundreds died for those safety standards, and the major airlines want to ignore them for profit.
Did they bring in some more black or female workers? 😂
LOL Boeing public relations department is in damage control mode… 🤣✈️🔥
Boeing needs to hire even more diverse workforce! lady engineers and safety inspectors from Mogadishu FTW!
Boeing is cursed by bad leadership and corruption
Maybe if Boeing tried hiring people based on their skills fewer planes will be falling apart in-flight.

This plane needs to be scrapped, it’s been dogged with issues from the start, hundreds have already been killed, more will follow
"Boeing says it is in touch with inspectors and is committed to the highest safety standards." cough MCAS
Loose bolts not being tighten, no wonder there are airline crashes
Boeing flying junkyard.
Car Mechanics usually check that the vehicle they were working on has 4 wheels on it before taking it for a test drive so maybe Boeing could learn from this too
All companies, after having a serious accident have to brag about upgrading safety and inspections to appease insurance companies. Many huge companies like Halliburton, Brown & Root, Bay, Williams Brothers, etc., all have their own insurance companies or subsidiary insurance companies, so they keep their money under their control and can even barrow it, instead of using banks.
You cannot INSPECT quality into a product. They are still not attacking the real problem at Boeing and FAA.
They better do more than changing its safety inspection plans. The need to do an overhaul on the ENTIRE management chain. This is unacceptable.
Lucky for Boeing nobody was sitting in that window seat with no seatbelt. They dodged a bullet.
Made in America quality shining through..
I guess it's better late than never but those regulations were added to make air travel safe. Too bad the management at Boeing never got the message.
Corporate America is poison
Why is the Boeing Air Accident Incident of last weekend, getting all the news media coverage now, when people have and the news media especially are already forgetting about the Japanese Airlines Airbus 350-9 Air Accident Incident, which happened a few days before the Alaska Airlines boeing 737 Max 9 Air Accident Incident?
When there were deaths in the Japanese Airlines Airbus 350-9 Air Accident Incident, but no deaths happen in the Alaska Airlines boeing 737 Max 9 Air Accident Incident?
Stop taking short cuts, that culture has brought down aircraft before & other incidents, seems mistakes of the past have been forgotten,
If I recall correctly, it was the doors that took down McDonnell Douglas.
So, what actually is the change being made to Boeing's safety inspection plan? I'm not sure this video addressed the specific nature of that change.
if have to spend a dollar Boeing dont change anything
Do they have any inspection plan?
Boeing is changing it's safety inspection plan to doing a safety inspection on every 100th aircraft they build rather than doing no safety inspection at all.
aircraft structure mechanics be like, inspectors didnt catch it, it'll be alright
Grounding those Boeing 737 max planes after this incident and the two fatal crashes in 2018 and 2019 were like punishing the aircrafts for being dangerous. Hope Boeing would improve their airplanes.
On an airplane that was near full, one has to marvel at the unlikely probability that there were no passengers in the row where the door/plug blew out, especially since the seats were distorted on their mounts, and, because no CVR information is available. Because of how crucial this issue is to Boeing, we have to wonder, at least a little bit, if the airplane landed with the same number of passengers aboard as it had on takeoff. ??
so all 4 bolts came loose at the same time and no cycle inspection noticed it?? Really?? lol
More like the bolts were never installed.
