  1. What will be a significantly advanced capability on the RAFs former E-3 Sentry’s, which will be a vital force multiplier. However I feel just 3 E-7 Mk.1 AWACS, is a ridiculously inadequate number given that RAF will almost certainly require at least 1 or 2 aircraft to be operationally deployable at any given time.

    Yet there will be no tolerance for OCU Training Rotations or scheduled Maintenance cycles, let alone any potential losses due to attrition. Therefore, I feel given the strategic climate we are now facing with the likes of Russia and the Middle East kicking off, the RAF should operate a minimum fleet of 9 E-7 Wedgetails.
