From now on all flights will be required to carry a Gorilla with a roll of Gorilla tape.
Dam I saw myself in the live 🤌
Boeing stocks just took a Hugh Dump after this incident.
Alaska Airlines may wanna get those Airbus A321s back quick. If Delta is still considering the MAX 10s for 2025, they might want to start looking at the A320NEOs.
If they can't abandon the Franken-MAX, maybe Boeing should start making their aircraft in China – for sure the quality control and finished product will be better/safer.
It's ironic that an Indian/Chinese-made iPhone 15 can survive a 3 mile fall from the aircraft and still be working – without even having a cracked screen….
Clearly a smartphone is more "aerospace standard" than what Boeing make – who can't even (visibly!) tighten bolts (or miss them off altogether!!).
Lose bolts…. well that make me feel really secure now….. I heard on Dutch radio that Boeing privatised that part of the company which was responsible for this part of the airplane. That is neoliberalism for you. Big profits for the compagny and you get sucked into space.
In a memo to airlines, Boeing warned to keep the standard door, deactivate it. Changing to a plug, involves modifying the door.
AA 2000 jackscrew grease is optional. AA 2024 modified door plugs, bolts are optional. Or simply not tightened.
Avoid any neo fuel saver plane. During ground testing, the GTF engines exploded.
How this happens to the door of the aircraft, it can happen to any other parts of the aircraft right? It scares the hell out of me to think that the bolts that fasten the wings to the body of Boeing's aircraft may not be fastened properly. Human lives don't mean anything to Boeing.
737 max the first airliner is on using common core math?
When this airplane gets back in the air, passengers are probably going to request seats as far away from that door location as possible, and I don't think anybody is going to want to sit next to it. That could mean several rows of empty seats. This is going to reduce the number of passengers each plane can carry. This will hurt the airlines.
Only Airbus
It's Not Boeing running & Managing the day to day construction…..McDonald Douglas (DC10) Runs the business……into the Ground that's Responsible….
@ 1:44 – Nothing screams quality then red duct tape and plastic!
AirBus is no different folks, Flying has always been risk management ….
