Boeing is having problems with mechanical failures because the Mazak SD 400 6 axis CNC machines that cut the parts are junk.
Boeing… STOP pushing your Boeing-Clones up the ladder to replace the Boeing-Clone that just got fired, stepped down or retired. The reason Boeing CAN'T right the ship is because they REFUSE to change their corporate mentality and continue as "One Boeing". They are broken and rotten to the core and need outside intervention to fix themselves. SOMEONE needs to step in!!
Union workers that hide from their boss for the first year to get tenure. Afterwards they cruise a benefits and timed raise "job". The workers at Boeing are a culture of substandard entitled loafers.
Out sourcing, wages not keeping up with inflation, and the modern American corporate mentally that anyone can do the job– so just get it done, creates a thankless work environment for aircraft workers, workers are viewed as expendable and their skills taken for granted. Aircraft manufacturing requires an above average skill level.
Personal accountability
The fish starts rotten from its head. In cases like this one, everybody who was the decision maker must pay the consequences for those decisions. Most of the times, the leadership is a waste of company profits anyway, so Boeing would not be harmed, probably would even benefit.
Maybe Capitalism has a little something to do with not investing back into safety measures. As long as the top keeps all the money, it’s all good.

As for the supervisor that was putting his finger in the female employees face, i sure hope he's no longer working there, but every time he was brought up, a deflection happened. I sure hope none of the witnesses being questioned was not that supervisor in the past.
Quality and Safety are just words. Actions are the true teller of whom a person, company or a Political party are. Look at New York State and Californian State and companies. When the democrats don't give a crap about their people, then companies don't either.
