Bodycam: Woman Stabbed 3-Year-Old Boy Randomly Outside Ohio Grocery Store

An Ohio woman is behind bars after she allegedly stabbed a three-year-old boy outside a supermarket on June 3. North Olmsted police rushed to the scene of the crime and arrested 32-year-old Bionca Ellis of Cleveland. Bystanders told officers they had no time to react to the random attack in the Giant Eagle grocery store parking lot. Law&Crime’s Elizabeth Millner breaks it down.

The toddler was stabbed with a kitchen knife while riding in his mom’s cart. Ellis allegedly followed the boy and his mother out of the store before the attack. The boy’s mother was also stabbed once in the shoulder. Ellis fled the scene and was arrested shortly after without resisting. She had no previous interactions with the mother or the boy.

  13. The way she walked out of that thrift store, shuffling her feet and pausing to ready her knife– she knew what she was going to do and strolled on with impunity. Her body language said a lot.
    I'd be interested in witness statements from the thrift store…
    I'm devastated for that family, their friends, and the entire community. 😔

  18. I told a friend I'm scared to be outside of my apt too much because of crime and she made fun of me. Plus, she said she will watch the front door to the coffee shop we were at since my back was to it.

  27. Back when men were allowed to be men, a woman like this wouldn't have made it to trial. This toxic masculinity feminism talks about is the stoic attitude required to keep people in an open society safe from danger. If this was still known in our society, this woman would never have felt free enough to attempt this. RIP little one.

  31. Just wow..Why is what I would like to know too..Mental illness? Some sort. Hate crime, idk, would have to know her background. Maybe she wanted to go to jail, free meals, free place to stay. Worse if that’s the case. Evil knows no bounds. 😞🕊
