Wood County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped a vehicle in the Village of Cygnet on Feb. 14 for a traffic violation. The car’s driver, identified as Campbell, 27, of Cincinnati, had a 29-year-old female passenger in the backseat.
Note that audio is not included between 4:29 and 5:41, as it was redacted by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office to protect the identity of the victims. Additionally, the sheriff’s office provided WTOL 11 with bodycam video of an interview with the victim, but it was not included as the sheriff’s office had also removed audio and blurred the video to protect the victim’s identity.
The sheriff’s office said they separated the Campbell and the passenger and learned that the unidentified female had been reported missing on Jan. 10 by her mother from San Bernardino, California.
