  1. Proving that the nonsense Chapek continued was started by Iger. He’s not an improvement. The company will continue to degrade under him and those who follow him

  2. I’d be shocked if McCarthy gets it, if only because she’s only a few years younger than Iger. So, have Iger retire in two years only to replace him with someone who’ll probably be retiring after only a few years on the job? Just doesn’t make sense. D’Amaro is someone I could see getting the job in two years and continuing for a good decade or more.

  3. I’m not trying to sound discriminatory here, I’m just talking likelihood. She’s 67 years old now. Iger has committed to the job for the next two years, which means if she were to become CEO, she’d be almost 70 by the time she took the job for the first time.

I know you can say that Iger is 71 now. But Iger has been CEO for many years and is a proven commodity. It’s also important to say that he’s only back as CEO to see the company through a rough period of time of transition.

So, going back to Christine McMcarthy, given her age, why would you want her just starting out in that role? What’s the likelihood she stays CEO for any long period of time? I mean it’s not like she’s going to stay CEO for 15 years like Iger did, she’d be 85 by then and likely long retired. You want to put someone in that role that can still give you a lot of years. Like Iger did, like Eisner did. This is a company that develops $200 Million dollar budgeted films, theme park attractions, entire new theme parks, all of which are years-long processes. It’s important to have someone as CEO that will be there long term. I just don’t see Christine McCarthy as that person. I think if she got it, she’d give you 2-4 years and then retire. They have to think long term here.

  4. This Volunteer debacle makes no sense unless Disney is deliberately trying slap them in the face. Disney has nothing to lose and only more money to gain by giving 4 more hours of souvenir and food purchasing time to people so dedicated, they’re willing to give their personal time to volunteer for one of the richest companies on the planet. From a heartless money making strategy, this doesn’t even make sense. Having run marathons for decades at this point, in the running community everyone says Disney races are by far the best. And the reason cited—even by non-Disney fans—are the volunteers. This needs to be broadcast in Runner’s World so the running community can also get pissed.

  5. Why did you shove in "at that time Obama was president". Gun control laws are not NOT made by the President. IF you wanted to say something with a tag time line..you could have said
"At that time the AVENGERS" was release. or mention DeStanis (won in 2012..installed in 2013)

  6. Limited rewards for a volunteer that supports your company through some of the worst decisions ever made. I agree with Tom. Absolutely disgusting 🙁 also visiting from the UK in 2023 for the first time in 5 years. Unsure what to think ???…

  7. in Italian you pronounce the double letters separately. Lavaz-Za . "Pen-ne" pasta. not "pene" that means .. male anatomy . lol. Also, Disney needs to stay in their lane on politics . that quote is literally chilling to the core. As for the potential new ceo "meet the new boss, Same as the old boss" -the Who

  8. Instead of gun control, Disney needs to focus on creating good content. I canceled D+ after the train wreck of Obi Wan. Watched the first episode of Willow at a friend's house. thinking if it was good, I'd check it out. Disney ruined another classic. I'll stick to my old DVD of the movie. New Mandalorian season won't be worth coming back.
