  1. When you buy a sport suv or sedan its not because you have not the money for a coupe or a cabrio but because you need place, habitability and comfort with the performance of a sport coupe or simply because you prefer it. Coupes and cabrios are mainly cars of single persons.

  2. Back then in the early 90‘s when Mercedes Benz released the new R129, 500SL Series it was hard for BMW to keep up! The SL was a 2 in 1 Car a Coupe and a Convertible and the BMW 8 Series just a Coupe!
And then Benz released the 600SL V12 so BMW needed to keep up and released the 850 V12 wich was 2 6 cylinder Engines put together!
    But both Cars are amazing!

  4. I’m a huge fan of jay and Jason, but I was worried at first when I came across the video that their different presentation styles would clash, jay being more slow and laid back and Jason being very fast paced, stylized and informative. Luckily my fears were quickly put to rest. They are both true professionals of the genre, great to see them play so well together

  5. Excellent video. Wait, I'm showing my age 😂 Video!? Gorgeous car and a pair of utterly likable car geeks. I didn't even know the V12 came with a stick? In that color (combo!) that may be the nicest example I've ever seen. I've had 92 cars of my life and 11 of them BMWs. Including my current jdm 2006 Z4 3.0si coupe. They get in your blood..which eventually boils when your plastic cooling system calls it quits! As much as I would love one of these I just couldn't fathom the potential operating costs as a semi daily driver. I'm sure the 2 J's could manage! 😄

  6. Fun story, in the early 80s when I was about 20 I worked for a used car dealer and sold a 1970 Jaguar XKE V12 coupe to a couple in Ocean City, MD. I got to drive the car from Fairfax, VA to OC and enjoy a weekend on the boardwalk in an apt above the the kite shop they owned. That car turned heads everywhere. Those were the days…
