Jack McKey had a vision when he was eight years old of being whisked away to a flat topped mountain the American West and show the end of the world. That drove him to a life as a mountain man and maker of primitive bows, lances and stone clubs. He was one of the few who could make a powerful bow from the horns of a mountain sheep. But he paid a steep price for his adventures into the wild. He had to leave behind his three-year-old son. This documentary looks at the amazing creations of Jack McKey, as well as his personal struggle to reunite with his son.

Would have liked to say goodbye to Jack.
A great teacher, lets hope those fortunate enough to spend time with him pass the knowledge on . Regards from the UK
I'd like to meet Hazen… I like the way he thinks, close to the Earth mother, primitively. Our culture is absolutely in trouble… Jack is right when he says, "take care of the earth, and it will take care of you"… humanity is doing a very poor job of it.
You JACK have been around the block once or twice so therefore
around a campfire, your stories would surely be listened to with reverence.
I don't want to knock you off your self-imposed pedal stool, but JACK… seriously you didn't teach any native INDIAN or INDIGENOUS peoples anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are a character and a bullshitter that can, as is being taken as an old fool whose stories, legends, or fables, are nothing but your life's over-exaggerated experiences BUT…has inspired and amused many over the years.
Jack, you have made a UTUBE DOCO, so kudos you are famous!!!
Take it and run with it, just don't bullshit a bullshitter, ok!!!!!!
