timestamp 25:00, was the scout sergeants name Elias? Vortex Grenade was cool, bad sadly missed, maybe next time bring on the virus grenade (maybe best against orks?).. what a great Battle Report, 2nEd was really cool, liked the close combat rule and using several different dice.. I started 40k back then when Dark Angel Armour was still black, stopped playing for quite some time but never dropped the lore, I played the PC games and read the books all the time until I was returning back to the TT hobby… 😉
Ed is a real great addition, hope seeing him more often and he surely needs an appropriate nick!

I started with 2nd edition and my words can't describe how much I loved this battle report. I also enjoyed the new presenter. I can't wait to see him in more content.
This video is everything, it’s like I’ve stepped back in time. I remember getting 2nd ed as a Christmas present and it became my life for so long. Now (at 40) I’ve picked my paintbrush up again, thanks so much for reminding me of where it all started. Oh and the white dwarf battle style was brilliant (and also hilarious some times 🤣, the 2nd ed Tyranid codex come to life!)
I went into this 2nd edition battle report not expecting to be that interested, but man, I loved this. The editing and length was perfect for this edition's report.
I played as a kid in the late 90s /early 2000s. Haven't touched the game in 20 years, and this was a really great blast of nostalgia. Took me back to homemade terrain on the living room floor 🥹
