With regards to StatCheck and GW having different win rates, GW keeps same faction vs faction battles in their numbers. Since it is a guaranteed win/loss, it pulls the stats towards 50% everytime you include mirror matches.
Champion of humanity and the strat for Ironstorm also work against the half damage effect on an Avatar or C'tan. Makes them actually killable.
Storm Ravens are kinda getting meta ATM. Plasma-cannon, multi-melta, slap the bolters on. Take it in an ironstorm list and get it the lethal hits aura? It's a dumb amount of firepower, and the second aura that negates 1 damaging hit. It's also a springboard for the redemptor.
Update i took out the DC dread for scouts and a LT with combi weapon with vect enhancement just finished a mini garage hammer tourny, currently 8-0 against 6 differnet factions with this list going to be looking to face some heavy competition to stress test this list more

The whirlwinds , and split the terminators into 2 6 man squad one with captain one with Chaplin ? I could replace whirlwinds with blade guard vets ?
You ran the sanguinor in front of a rogal dorn and forgot about overwatch lol. That's why you're not a huge fan. Try it again. If any unit gets a kill on one model in overwatch it's the dorn. My other army is a guard dorn list.
I've been running a 10 terminator brick with captain to great success. In 3 games against neurons, demons and ultramarines I've lost 1 model. It deletes whatever I get it to and hold that chunk of the board. Rapid ingress with them is clutch. I pulled it off against an army with 10 infiltrators too, they aren't unplayable.
they John, have you looked into a VV squad with a sanguinary priest, improves ap and a 5+ fnp. With the shields it's a 3+,4++,5+++ I ran them for a few games and they just don't die. Ran them against Iron Hands Iron storm and Gladius Dark Angels with big chunks of black knights. This is getting expensive but I am thinking of adding a Captain to them as well

Just starting a BA army any suggestions haven’t played WH40k in 20 years 😂 any suggestions i dont really want to waste money building and find out its not a viable build 😅 any help would be appreciated!!
