Another great Brennan game (outside of Dropout) is The Great Knucklehead Rally (search on YouTube). It is one of my favorite one-shots, Liam and Aabria are there, metal music gets invented, and Brennan delves into the horror of awakening animals. Give it a watch!
Any moments I missed? Feel free to post them here. Is it Thursday yet?
Brennen REALLY wanted that tree dead.
Thanks!
shield is a reaction, and only protects from 1 attack. but you can chose to use it even after the to hit result of the enemy has been announced
33:40
No idea how a level 3 spell counterspell was able to counterspell a finger of death whilst not needing a roll and then the attacker needed a roll to counterspell the level 3 counterspell!
Brennan's poker face is god level
2:56:04
The unbeatable confidence in which he rolls the dice is the best part.
It's so hard knowing they are all going to die. It's like watching Titanic. You know the ship is going down but you still hope for a last minute reprieve.
I need this entire arc in a comic or better yet a novel cus I need to reread this slowly as so much has flown over my head or I blinked ans missed something. Defiantly gonna re watch this arc.
I started singing bust a move at the same time Travis did lol
Thank you Noblesolutiontemple for bringing back my ex lover after we broke up over a little misunderstanding, she is back to me and we are more than happy before
I really like how Brennan aproaches insight in general: not only he doesn't use it as "he's telling the truth/he's lying", he adds depth to human emotion, making it complex "you realize it's a plea" was fucking awesome, also using it as an ability in itself to rationalize things that happen in the world not only against other people/creatures, which should be an obvious use of the ability but never seen it in any games. Lastly, the auto-insight to Sam was fucking poetic. I was already sold on Brennan as a DM but now I will definitely check Dimension 20.
I love that Aabria has just implied that modern Exandria has a chain of Dragon-themed Spas, not just the Chromacrisis one in Kymal.
FUCKING HELL BRENNAN!!!!!!!!
The fucking level of improv acting in this mini series by everyone is fucking mental. Absolutely incredible stuff.
“We can’t turn against each other guys.”
Me in a campaign trying to assassinate one of my group lol
Holy shit Aabria’s makeup this episode is insane!! She is so ridiculously pretty
Im normally not into the non campaign extras, hell i didnt even like c2 that much, but this, this is good, very good.
The city gives me vibes of Gulliver's Travels, for anyone familiar
46:39 …
discombulate.
I love Aabria, she;s incredible, this is not directed at her.
But Laerryn is unbelievably selfish, power-hungry and arrogant
I get that almost every character in this mini-campaign is like that, but Laerryn takes it to a whole other level
She wants to take Avalir and all its citizens to other planes without consulting anybody before making this, using a machine that appeared to "kill" her best friend
On the surface, she acts like she cares more about her work and inventions than the people closest to her
And she wants to destroy a magical tree that she knows next to nothing about, a tree that's at the heart of the city
For once, I feel bad for one of Sam's characters
1:29:35 "Everyone leaves Mylus Phren. Mylus is all alone on the ground"
I guess that makes him Mylus Phren-dless?
