  1. I don't feel like we can give them credit for the roadmap, seeing as over 3 years, they've made 3-4 heroes for launch, 6 total maps (and while horribly flawed, we can't forget this is replacing the 5 assault maps that were removed). Push is the new mode, that's it, not anything more. And the skins? Great, but cosmetics are all we've gotten for the last 3 years, so it's getting pretty hard to care about that anymore. All around, shocking how little content their "massive content" patch is going to be. Even with development hell considered, how is this what they've made over the course of 3 years?

  3. Not holding out much hope ATM, hopefully I'm wrong, but if I wanted to play Call of Duty I would… 😕

Locking new heroes behind a pay wall will mean I will not be playing. And that's what every other BS Pass game Activision has made does. Pay for the new 'hero' or just cope with being screwed over.

  5. @Youroverwatch What is the point in pre-ordering OW2 for $40? I was really thinking about it, but i'm guessing its that price because of the PvE, but it doesnt say anything about the PvE included in the package at all.

  6. It’s well knows Blizzard has about 20 hero’s already designed. Feels like we haven’t got shit for two years… (new hero’s, maps) so they better have new stuff ready by now

  7. as long as they have NEW content/events i will be happy especially since pvp is FREE honeslty this should have been a thing a long time ago, we have had same events for like 5 years? reason why i stopped playing for so long, only event i really liked was uprising cap the flag and lucio ball was ok to imo but after the first time it wasnt like "wow new event i gotta re dl the game to try this" like some games are i would honestly just love to see the game come back to life … its honestly pretty dead even with crossplay u still see the same people in ranked so lets hope that changes

  8. From the moment they've announced 5v5 my interest in OW, and OW2, has diminished and with every piece of news is getting lower. I played the beta for OW2 and have little fun, specially in Push. And now that is going the way of Free-to-Play, I think I'll be playing very little of this game. The community is super toxic in the way that a lot of people don't care about the team aspect of the game, which results in bad experiences in Competitive. Maybe people is not toxic in chat or voice but they are toxic in the worst way for the game: by making the playing experience very little rewarding for people that takes it somewhat seriously, and I believe all of this is going to get worst by making it Free-to-Play. I bet I'm not the only one who feels like this.

  9. PvE will be released in chunks.
    Because they are not done.
Because they will include certain chunks in battle passes if they can so they get more value. :^)

  10. Drip feed content does NOT work. It works for casual players, who play 5-10 hours per season. But that's of course something Blizzard doesn't cares about. Even if people play a season just for 5 minutes, as long as they buy the season pass.

  11. This screams the same shit Fortnite did.. and like if we get burned with possible PVE and then it is never delivered after marketing initially OW2 was mainly PVE.. they're going to lose people.

  12. The game is still the same. The Que times are still garbage. 5v5 literally out here disbanding 6 stacks. 3 new heroes after almost a 3 year content drop. Dunkey isn't about too update anything lmfao.

  13. I think quality will take a hit now. Back in the day when a new skin or hero or map would be release we knew that it would be atleast high quality. New content every 9 weeks? If they manage to keep the quality the same I don't mind but I do have this feeling there will be a lot more problems with new content…

It's quite the undertaking and if they manage it the game will thrive. Lets hope it's the latter. They do seem confident.

  14. Anyone knows if smurfing is going to become an even bigger problem now with free to play? Not a big fan of free to play tbh.. It is nice to be able to casual play one evening a month with friends in one game without thinking about money. But then again, if money is the problem… payed battle passes, skins and all that make the games become so… so… just look like an AD and not clean, efficient and just the best user experience. So they will not get that money from me anyways.. So.. speaking for only me, I´d say they´re better off having me pay for the game anyways and I get a more clutter free game. Actually I would like "pay for what you use" model.. So I could switch between games without thinking about money… You played only one evening this year.. It cost you 0.5 dollar.. And for the game you go all hardcore on you end up paying 4 times then if you would have bought it brand new.. I mean it´s not more then fair when you spent so much time on it anyways.. like thousands of hours.

  15. Blizzard just saved overwatch? Don't make me laugh, kverwatch 2 is a joke. They promised us new maps, we got the same maps with day time turned into night time and vice versa. We got 1 new character, a bunch of reworks ruined much loved characters like mcree. THE STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMELS BACK IS THE FACT THAT THEY ARE IMPLAMENTING A BATTLE PASSSSSS!!!!!! THIS IS OVERWATCH!!!! NOT FORTNIGHT!!!! LET THIS SINK IN, THEY ADDED A BATTLE PASS SYSTEM. I'm done with this crap, I'm legitimately over this game, 2000+ hours on this game, down the drain. I'm so disgusted, you took a unique game and turned it into everything else.

Overwatch 2 should have been completely new maps, half the characters removed and replaced replaced new characters and new abilities and new graphics. Instead we got this garbage. Lazy, money grabbing, deceptive.

  17. the worrying thing is that content unlocks will be maxed out quickly. I can tell you that in world war z i've maxed out most things rather quickly and at that point the only thing left to do is to wait for new maps or go play another game.

beating the maps in mythic +16 difficulty over and over is not my idea of end game, btw and I worry that all blizzard games have gone the way of diablo
