  1. I wish they would stop using words like 'value' and 'worth'. It is none of that. Listen to the man talk, he is doing some serious arithmatic around a mobile 'game'. Its poison. Only good thing this game is good for is hate click content.

  2. And you believe, still, that the company who is doing THIS, isn't going to pull this shit with D4……….Now listen, I get what you are saying about "there is no evidence to the contrary" and "all the evidence so far says they won't lie about what they said so far" and all that jazz. But it's their actions like this, that is the evidence that people are referring to when they say that D4 is going to end up being pay to win in some way or that they will end up pulling sheisty shit like this at some point, regardless of what they are saying now.

  3. i think if youre playing Diablo Immortal you should stop giving excuses… now the game is this or this bad… its like argueing about the matrix but already took the pill to stay in the matrix knowing what you did… Its common sense… You as a gamer are also in the duty that when you play this you give the signal "Yas, give me more".

  4. The problem with having a max HP stat, a max life stat, and a vitality stat in one character sheet. Even the people making the game get confused. If they wanted to make an amplifier for p2w people they should have made it one stat with a distinct name (already have this with resonance) and multiplier that affects the regular stats instead of the additional confusing stats.

  5. The fact that blizzard continues to scam and con diablo immortal players out of their money and they get mad while still playing is endlessly hilarious to me, and also quite fascinating. Are we sure diablo immortal isn't some secret twisted social experiment?

  6. I am 99% done with blizzard, I'm going to get diablo 4 and if it sucks I'm done forever. Blizzard has gone from a beloved game company to a company you wish would just go out of business already. And yeah I feel bad for the employees but I feel worse when I stop and realize that those employees are being taught to be lazy and to blatantly lie to customers faces, when those employees attempt to move on they will realize they have wasted years attempting to gain experience and finding out it was all a waste.

  7. Giving everyone compensation for mistakes is normal for mobile games and really nice.
That they gave people a pity price for getting lied to is the actual problem.
The amount of "in game value" I got in my mobile games is really damn nice , makes one like the devs a whole lot more then this shit.

  8. these are literally the same arguments and same problems all these games have…

its crazy how lemming like we can be..
its our crazy trump card, that also backfires.. gacha gaming is probably the least of it..
worse ones i can think of are genocidal xenophobia, witch trials, industry.. obviously its a crazy double edged sword to have cognition…

you might as well cover other companies doing this.. like fun plus and all these other neuro-manipulative money grabs..

you can tie it into regional politics with places like china using these games to get cash and are tied into state level corruption (what isnt tho, i guess)…

theres alot more sociology to cover here..

  9. Mail from devs is account wide. I had 4 characters, they would all share response from support as well as things like this. He keeps saying free to play account when it's just another character

  10. even ubisof in their superpredatory game (might and magic era of chaos, don't play it, don't tell i didn't warn you) were smarter when they messed it, they gave freaking full money back + you keep your stuff + compensation to those who didn't buy the "oh sorry we didn't check the chinese translation" (cause the "world version" is 2 years behind "the real version" which is played in asia, don't say something silly like "they're beta testers" when the world version has like 500% more bugs than the asia one xD)
but that was only the beginning, once they noticed they could just piss in player's face cause they're dumbass fanboys (like wow and diablo players) they stopped being so considerate and they started doing the same shit
but hey, at least ubisoft tried to save their ass when they weren't sure what was gonna happen, guess that never happened with diablo immortal, after all… ppl keep playing, right? lol

  11. It's funny to see stuff like this still crop up. I played through the DI story F2P and stuck around for 2 weeks because I got into the best guild on my server so I got to go through the Immortal quests which was also interesting. They decided to relinquish being Immortals to "not let the server go stale" because people in the guild were heavy P2W and top of all the rankings. Uninstalled after that and haven't touched it since lol

  12. the thing is people are addicted to these games. no matter how hard you fuck them over they are still addicted to it. they might stop playing for a month if FOMO doesn't kick in immediately, but they come back next season at the last and then pay even more money to get back on track
