When I saw blightsteel won the poll I was a little sad, because everyone knows how insanely powerful it is and it didn't feel very 'against the odds'-y, but this deck is super sweet, really sweet brew!

I was playing the new mishra precon the other day. I modified it a bit and added a blightsteel colossus. I was DELIGHTED when one of my opponent played satoru. Which i copied with the machine god's effigy. He was surprised when he got ninja blightseeled 😀

guess I'm not the only one who made a deck with shape anew Blightsteel Colossus lol, I made a legacy deck using hard evidence/strike it rich with shape anew to cheat out Blightsteel Colossus. it's pretty fun

I've been looking for a modern deck for a long time, one of the reasons I watch every modern episode of yours. That first deck you played against with Vito and Grove is one of the coolest decks I've seen in a long time

One thing to note. 2 or 3 years ago, before MH2, there was a ton of path to exiles being played in modern, which just wrecks this deck so in some ways, the format is more favorable to it now.
