The Montesi Formula kills every vampire in the dimension. It’s how they killed Dracula back in the 80s. It killed every vampire but Hannibal King,who was cured.( He had never drank human blood)
Blade was NOT a vampire. He was a human that was immune to vampire powers because his mother was bitten while pregnant. That’s all. Then after the Wesley Snipes movie where they combined him with Hannibal King who was a vampire also turned by Deacon Frost in the comics. They had Blade be bitten by Morbius,and comic Blade became like Dhamphir Blade from the movies. These days,they literally just use the movie origin for him.
I’ve been wondering for the longest time if the events with blood hunt are tied to what happened with the mother of evil. I’ve been watching Dopespill cover this stuff and he’s never mentioned if they were tied together. So knowing these are now tied makes a lot of sense towards Blade’s 180 in character. Appreciate that clarification!

Thanks for the video Rob. I originally had no interest in this but after watching this video I am now really interested. It's really cool that there was some actual build up to this event. In lower tier titles too. Moon Knight and Blade. It even ties in what's going on with the Avengers and X-Men. Cool stuff. Take care and peace.
Crazy how DC vs Vampires led to this crazy story-line. After a while, you get tired of the Big Two always copying each-other.
Marvel makes The AVENGERS look so goddamn incompetent anytime they want to show how powerful a new threat is. They’re always the first to fall.
