Its very plausible that he could be Xebecs son because devil fruits have there own will and if the theory is true that the Yami Yami no mi belonged to xebec, then it would go to the person who also has xebecs will. Another way I can see this is if we get a cutscene from a talk between BB and WB talking about it like we did with Ace.
