Ok so the brand new trailer for Black Panther for Wakanda Forever is now here and the latest look is filled with easter eggs, hidden details and a lot of things that tease towards the plot. Throughout this video we’re gonna be doing a big breakdown on the new look whilst also talking about some of the things revealed about the movie at D23. The people at the event were shown a two minute scene from the film and my uncle filmed the whole thing and sent it to me courtesy of Kevin Spoilers.
So lots to talk about and the movie itself is reportedly going to be two hours and forty one minutes long. This makes it the second longest MCU movie after Avengers Endgame so there’s plenty of time to tackle the passing of T’Challa, the rise of Namor and also the new heir to the black panther mantle.

Ok so the teaser begins with a shot that was missing from the original trailer and it has Shuri carrying T’challas helmet. The song we can hear in the background is Never forget by Sampa the great and it sets the more battle heavy theme for this first look. Whereas last time was a very emotional song in no woman no cry this is way uplifting with the war being the main focal point. Inmterwoven with these shots of Wakanda are ones of Namor and his kingdom. He discusses what it takes to be a great leader and we see in this trailer he how charges head first into battle. He’s referred to as the K’uk’ulkan which is the name of a feather serpent god. Pulling up the wiki for it it has a clear and distinctive shape that I believe we also see Namor painting into the wall. He can hover in the air as well as move at great speeds whcih I’ll talk about more in just a bit.

Visually the film looks great. But without the main character and their stupid mistake by not recasting T'challa is uninteresting. Namor is his biggest rival and now they give an all female empowerment movie.
I was wondering how they were going to deal with his death. Almost 3 hrs seems kinda long but we probably won't even notice
this is going to be a batman vs superman type of film. they showing a lot of wakanda vs namor and his ppl but they will def team up to take on something bigger at the end of the film after an initial confrontation
I don't think its an upgrade to go from show to movie. More time to tell the story as a show.

Super neat detail with Shuri holding the civil war version of the black panther helmet instead of the 2018 version because the 2018 version forms around the body coming out of the necklace so if they wanted to have it in the funeral the entire suit would form.The 2016 version didn’t have that tech so it’s a traditional helmet separate from the rest of the suit

I keep thinking the woman in the funeral scene is Ayo, not Shuri. Maybe something's wrong with my eyes. But it's clear in the teaser trailer that her hair is shaven.
Its going to be hard to watch this flim without Chadwick Boseman in this movie for some of us if im going to be honest, but for me im gonna give it a shot, Wakanda Forever. Love you Chadwick Boseman 🖤

The dots on the new black panther mask is more similar to the dots on shuri's face ( 3:40 ) when fighting against killmonger
Is Namor’s headpiece the god Kukulkan/Quetzalcoatl? Wonder if its like the Wakanda’s that had the black Panther/Panther god Bast and they have Kukulkan and their king takes on Namors role by birth & that’s why Namor has feet wings & can fly just like their god?

You know I just thought of this, what if the scene where the UN forces attacking the lab and the the Queens speech at the UN is the very end of the movie . Just because she says that Wakanda’s king is dead, but still has protectors . That just feels like and end scene , right after “still has its protectors “ cut to black
If this film is as good as the trailer makes it look, it could be looked back on going forward as the bright shining star of Phase 4.

Namor dies
I am excited about this film. Ryan Coogler ha been an exceptional director with all of his movies. This appears to be a very emotional picture.
Sometimes I look at a trailer and I think that there should be some kind of award given out to amazing trailers regardless if the movie sucked or not, if you had an epic trailer, it should be recognized. This trailer deserves some kind of recognition.
Maybe Shuri becomes Black panther, but it would be an awesome scene if multiple women from Wakanda wore the suit for the end fight scene.
