  1. My least favourite of the franchise up to this point (didn’t play CoD after BO3) zombies became too complex for the casual player (me) and I was not interested in all the puzzles and Easter egg quests to setup your loadout for the game. I’ll still go back to BO1 and it’s WaW remasters

  2. One thing important to clarify, Gobblegums and micro transaction werent a thing for at least a big chunk of the first year of bo3, newtons book didnt exit for at least the first year. Gobblegums werent that op. most op gums were like perkaholick and the shop one (appeared only after Gorod) and very few people had more than 10 of them unless they lucky.

  3. I have so many fond memories of that summer in bo3. The zombie community was truly at its peak. Also I felt that Jason blundel and the whole zombie team really loved the community as a whole. God do I miss those days. I somewhat pray that Bo6 can reignite that love for zombies again.

  4. Black Ops 3 Zombies was NOT the golden age of zombies. I wish people would stop saying that. Black ops 3 completely divided the community. How can it be the Golden Age when it literally split the community and caused half the player base to quit playing? I swear it feels like these youtubers just regurgitate what the last youtuber said in a different way.

  5. I’m watching this in 2024 but he forgot to add one KEY part of BO3 zombies. CUSTOM MAPS! You can play your own custom maps in the steam workshop, theres millions of maps that you can play and have fun on with your friends. (only down side is pc only)

  7. ZNS is a personal favorite of mine. The atmosphere just completely immerses me every time I play. Especially the track(Skulls of the Damned) that plays at the ancient ruins where the skulls are located.

  9. Fair that it wasn’t mentioned since not everyone has it, but the Steam Workshop support for this game is genuinely half the reason it’s the GOAT.

Custom maps, perks, sound effects, player models. Good lord the possibilities are endless. People have remastered the old maps that weren’t included, AND made brand new maps that are so high-quality they could be actual DLC (Leviathan).

Until a new game has workshop support, BO3 will stay on top forever.

  10. I used to dread having to play ZNS for the Super EE, I learned it and completed it in one night after 4 failed attempts. A lot of the flaws Tim mentions are dissipated with the use of Megas. I actually really liked ZNS, I liked it even more than DE. Even after 3 of my runs were ended because i kept trying to electrify the panel in Station A and not B. Gas Mask and shield aren't that bad. The only problem I have with part acquisition Visor of the shield. It's so out of your way to get it early on, as the AA gun isn't used until you have to get the three cogs. Hopping into a game of ZNS and then realizing you didn't bring ABH is always a bad feeling, but other than those issues, its really a great map. I wish more people would give it a chance instead of disregarding the map as "complicated" after clicking their middle button and seeing all the parts you need to grab. ZNS's parts, in my mind, are large in quantity, but not out of your way like the Rocket launch Rag piece on DE. ZNS's parts are all fairly easy to obtain, none of them are that tedious, especially because I like to get my spider venom before I open permanent power. You can get two of the rituals done before round 3, and they only take 45ish seconds. A lot of the problems mentioned are just convenience issues. ZNS's layout was structured around the egg. Which I really liked. I loved GK, but you could tell that some of the egg steps were designed after the map was made, what with the 6 challenges after you completed the irritating valve step. ZNS doesn't have that problem.
