Nah I feel like they killed it on PC. Glad I have it on console lol. But this just goes to show Activision couldn’t care any less about their consumers and just want to do everything in their power to make sure everybody fucking hates them. So yeah it’s not dead on PlayStation or Xbox but on PC it most definitely is and all Activision needed to do to get some good spirits from their customers would be to have given the creators of BOIII an award and maybe some free shit. That would have been in their best interest. Let BOIII strive and Activision would get some respect for once.

Sorry guys but, did you know if the hacker problem is also present on consoles, or if it is only a PC problem?
Got a pc last week and have been playing bo3 zombies offline with mods that make the mega gobble gums act as the base gums
So the BOIII client does still "work" you just gotta know the servers people are hosting, in the command window type "connect (ip:port)" and then you get connected and there are ways to host your own private one too youve just gotta look it up
so i jus started playing bo3, i run private match with my 4 friends custom zombie maps, do i still need the patch? kinda confused on whats going on

Annoying, on bo3 i get 30 fps, on BOIII i get 120 fps cant play bo3 again, inless the patch fixes fps?

bo3 is not unsafe, bo3 is not quite literally "unplayable" as some of these people make it seem lol, if anything it is nothing more of a RISK to get in a game with a cheater just like it is on literally every game ever made…. just play bo3 or play through a client, regardless it is safe to play lmao jeez

With Activision sending cease and desist letters to all the COD clients/modding platforms out there, people are now pissed that there's basically no way to play the old Call of Duty games anymore. If you play the games without a client, you are at risk for security/privacy vulnerabilities as the games are unmaintained by the developers and therefore unsafe to play due to malicious software and attackers.
If you are interested in retaliating against Activision after their recent moves, join gamers in reporting the COD games MW2/MW3/Ghosts/AW/BO1/BO2 on Steam with the message: "Reporting due to an old unfixed security/privacy vulnerability CVE 2018-20817."
By breaking the Steam guidelines and disallowing Activision to make money off these broken games, hopefully this gets their attention to either fix the games or green light the clients.
