On the other hand, unlike certain people, I can relate to characters like Mario, Link, Zelda, Kirby, and Pikachu – all characters who have nothing in common with me. So a journalist cabal began a campaign of maliciously intentional mistranslation of foreign speech in order to push a narrative. The Dev never meant half the stuff the "journalists" say they said. Certain Chinese phrases have no translation to English at all so this whole story is made up slander.
