  1. As a casual fan, I have no idea what black Adam is about. Ik the rock is in it. But when the first iron man came out, just from that epic trailer I knew who tony stark was and what the premise of the movie was going to be. I feel the rock put too much emphasis on gimmicks or it overshadowed the emphasis on plot so casual fans like me have no clue what it's about or why we should see it in theatre.

  2. 90% of people in my theatre went out before Henry even showed, and those who knew that hill pop-up knew it's only for few seconds and not a version they wanted (Zimmer theme and black suit, and not "Jostice" Supes). This is fans voting with their wallet – we wanted bigger-than-life movies and continuation of the Snyderverse, not cheap marvel popcorn rip-offs.

  3. The DC movies are failing due to being delayed for so long. Movies can earn if released. People are starving for these movies and will go to theaters. Flash, Shazam 2 and Aquaman 2 have been delayed for multiple years. People loose interest. I will only believe it when I am sitting in the movie theater.

  5. I am not sure when people will realize general audiences only go to theaters 1-3 movies A YEAR!!!! Not everything will be a slam dunk anymore. Or join the bullion club. And that’s okay. Black Adam is going to do great on streaming! That’s the new area to win!

  6. I think the reason Dwayne Johnson isn't the draw people expect him to be is that he's TOO Ubiquitous. He's everywhere, in everything, and his characters are fairly one-dimensional. He needs to expand his range, not his marketing and product range

  7. Can dceu PLEASE restart from The Batman!!! It’s so exhausting to see this halfdone universe that is trying to copy marvel.🙄 JUST BE UNIQUE. BE WHAT DC DOES BEST, THE REALISTIC AND DARK THEMED STORYTELLING.

  8. the only person Indy should pass his fedora on to is Short Round. the fact that no one in production thought of that is ridiculous. once he came back to acting they should've figured out how to reshoot and include him

  9. Grace saw the Avatar 2 screening…and she probably won't be talking about this streaming thing, with the 5", 12" and even 70" screens and mid budgets taking over 😂. Only a home companion piece. I think she's team theatrical now 😂

  10. Part of me kind of wishes that they just stuck to a period piece set exclusively after he gets his powers instead of moving it to the modern day. Over crowding it with characters that we barely got any real kind of development for. They story was kind of all over in that regard. A tasteful end credits scene of the Rock emerging in the modern day alla Captain America the first Avenger meeting superman like he did it would have been at least more interesting. 🤔

  11. Potential 1 billion dollar movies in 2023: aquaman 2, the flash, supermario bros, transformers beast, fast x, guardians 3, the marvels, mission impossible 7
Maybe: barbie, the little mermaid, wonka, indiana jones 5

  12. The JLA would’ve been a better stand alone film than black Adam .also these franchises (both marvel and DC) are struggling with the writing . So many mediocre plots these days. People just wanna see some good movies instead we get a CGI showcase. The Batman is still the best Comic book movie of the year in my opinion.

  13. 23:06 jass, was it? jass is DERP, big-time. Made us lazy during the pandemic… there was a pandemic lol. People lost their jobs and couldn’t make money to pay bills, much less waste it by doing stuff like go to the movies. And how bout the people who DIED? They obviously couldn’t be at the movies. Does that make them lazy?

I bet that was a bitter executive commenting lol
