  1. I understand what Bill is saying. It’s not that the bad thing that happens makes you happy it’s the ability to disconnect from that and find something funny. I cried laughing a few weeks ago after watching a video on insta off a girl riding an electric standup scooter with a coffee in her hands, a bag over her shoulder and a phone in her other hand. She tried to adjust the grip on the drink and her bag shifted which then caused her to fall forwards and skid her face along the ground.

  2. I get a little upset when I see the people I have grown up watching grow old and get closer to the end.
Im an Aussie and have always loved Conans personally and his craft.
People can only wish they are half as gifted as he is, I know I do.

Just the thoughts from someone who was raised by a single mother and no extended family.
Thank you, Conan. You bighted up my life when I was growing up and still do in my 30's.

  3. Seriously ? "I went to India and saw the level of poverty and wanted to adopt every kid and came back to America and saw the fat people" ? You didn't find the fat people in India ? You didn't find the homeless people, with the "please help" banner looking for a dollar from the passers by, on the streets of America ?

  4. I'm only 44 and I, too, "went outside", climbed trees, and can assure you my parents had like.. a top 5 idea of where we MIGHT be… but really had no idea. Depending on the season, it was either, be home before dark, or be home when the street lights come on.

  5. is it weird that as a 1st generation asian kid in the 80s-90s that this whole thing was hilarious and blindingly infruious at the same time? all i can say is that conan is the last of his kind. the rest of the new generation of talk hosts is vanilla, scared and worthless.
