Adventurer Dianne McGrath says her mother was her “biggest supporter” when she was shortlisted for the Mars One mission.
The Mars One mission, which has since been cancelled, aimed to send humans to Mars to live there.
“When she heard that her daughter would be going to live on Mars and be one of the first people to step on another plant – she said you have to do this,” Ms McGrath told Sky News Australia.

Please .. stop lying to the people .. mars ..ffs . 95% of people are living inside cartoon world.. everything you know is a lie..
I'm so inspired.
She should try the moon first.
A human colony simply isn't possible on Mars. Yes we can send rovers there. But a human would die within a year. It would definitely be a one way trip !
She kidding her self. She hasn't got a chance being sent. She's too old and by the sounds of it no experience for this if it happens sometime soonish.
Sigh, just another woman with a insane ideology. Trying to prove to her sisters she’s a powerful creature. Lol
Before Mars, they will need a Moon base. Get that done and you might find believers.

Who’d want to go to a dog shit planet to die, klaus Schwab’s agenda to dump people in mars, woke gobshites are welcome to go
A manned mission to Mars is more than 50 years away and it doesn't have to be "one-way". Settling there is something else – it has an atmosphere of carbon dioxide (yes, carbon dioxide) and is beyond the habitable zone; it cannot hold standing water in liquid form -SORRY!
What a bunch of bs.
Notice the fake and overexciting facial expression on each and every one of them made? 🤫
I thought it was mostly Americans gullible enough to believe anyone is going to mars😂🤣😂😂😂
Serious question, do Australians really believe they’re living upside down on a spinning ball?
