Omg this happened with my cats too except the opposite. My family and I got two kittens and were told they were both boys, and the vet thought that too for several months but then when they were about four months old the vet realized they were actually both girls!

this happened to me last summer. my mum got me a cat for my birthday (another black cat) and her name was lilith. Lilith had loads of vet appointments bc we got her younger than expected and not one of them told me HE was a boy π Lilith became Loki ππ
This happened to me! Was told my cat was a girl so I named her Dolly and turned out she is a he hahaha but his name is still Dolly
